Prosecutors present that as deliberate creation of opportunity.

She had a husband present in the home, access to specialized postpartum care, and family.

The claim that she was ‘failed by every institution until she met her lawyer’ is selective storytelling. Institutions treated her; she still executed the act.

Allo-parenting is real evolutionary biology, humans are cooperative breeders. That does not magically erase agency.

Millions of mothers throughout history raised children with far less support and did not kill them.

Mental illness (including rare postpartum psychosis) is serious and can be mitigating in court. It is not a free pass to reframe deliberate filicide as systemic ‘misogyny’ or proof that society is ‘psychopathic.’

If the defense of insanity succeeds, that is a legal question for the jury based on evidence of her mental state at the time.

Turning the courtroom into a morality play about 12,000 years of patriarchy does the opposite of helping vulnerable mothers. It teaches that when a woman commits the ultimate failure of care, the real culprit is always an abstract system rather than the person who held the bands.

Accountability is not gendered. Adults, whether male or female should own their actions.

Excusing catastrophic maternal violence as the inevitable product of ‘a world that hates nurturing’ removes the very pressure that keeps most people from crossing that line.

Never in the life of me have I ever thought a Nigerian state would have someone as Adeleke as governor.

He might be a good person with a great personality, but he has no business leading a state.

We always confuse money and philantropy as the recipe for leadership and that's totally flawed.

Again, Nigeria is not really short of policies or action plans, the problem has always been implementation.

Breads made like are always healthier than the ones made in perfect hygienic condition.

The bread itself is healthy, but you won't be healthy after eating it for long.

If Marcus Rashford is staying at Manchester United, then the message from the stands has to be clear and consistent.

Support him fully while he wears the shirt.

No mixed messages. No selective applause. No waiting for the next rumour to decide whether he’s “one of us” this week.

He’s a Manchester lad, academy product, and still under contract. As long as he’s training, selected, and representing the club, he deserves the same backing every other player gets.

Backing the team means backing the players in it, especially when the situation has been complicated for a while.

Whatever happened under previous regimes is done. Carrick is in charge now. Rashford is returning to the fold. Give him a clean slate and the support that helps a player settle and perform.

If he’s here, he’s ours. Simple as that.
