Ontario officials have released new modelling which predicts that the total cumulative cases during the this wave of the COVID-19 pandemic will be less than 20,000. That is much better than the 80,000 expected cases that were projected in modelling released earlier this month.
To clarify:
Isolation = you have tested positive for the virus
Quarantine = you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for the virus & are waiting to see if you develop symptoms
Social distancing = something everyone can do to reduce the risk of transmission
The Overreaction Paradox:
When the result of taking effective action is that nothing happens, which makes your effort seem unnecessary and like an overreaction even if it was the right thing to do.
