The Pan-African movement is proving its critics right when it comes to allegations of cognitive shallowness.
Celebrating chaos and unrest in France as some sort of "New World Order" is a massive indictment of empty emotionalism overriding basic logic.
France opened its borders, provided legal status, citizenship, healthcare, education, and access to Western infrastructure.
In return, people burn Paris, destroy the cities, and claim "West Africa is rising because France fell."
That is straight-up foolishness.
It is deeply embarrassing that this level of self-sabotage and short-sightedness is being packaged as an intellectual movement.
No Muslim can honestly deny this.
It's easier to be a Muslim in a Christian country than in a so-called Islamic one.
Try being a Shia in Saudi Arabia and practising your faith openly.
Try being an Ahmadi in Pakistan. Call yourself a Muslim and you can go to prison.
Try being a woman in Iran who steps outside without covering her hair.
Try asking for your daughter's education in Afghanistan.
Now look at the UK.
Sunni mosques. Shia mosques. Ahmadi mosques. All standing freely.
The worldwide leader of the Ahmadiyya community lives in England, because he can't live in Pakistan.
A girl in hijab walks into school in London. A girl in Kabul can't walk into school at all.
We call them kuffar.
But they're the ones protecting Muslims from Muslims.
So tell me again, which one is the Islamic nation?
Muslims, let's stop lying to ourselves.
Most Muslim countries are not tolerant of other religions.
In Saudi Arabia, a Christian can't build a single church.
In Pakistan, mobs burned more than 20 churches in one day in Jaranwala over a blasphemy rumour.
In Iran, Baha'is are barred from university just for what they believe.
Meanwhile the UK has nearly 2,000 mosques, and nobody is burning them down.
We demand tolerance everywhere we're the minority.
Then refuse to give it everywhere we're the majority.
That's not faith. That's hypocrisy.
Pan-Africanism has become a religion. Colonialism is the devil, the West is Satan, African leaders are innocent victims, and accountability is blasphemy.
For just 4 people bro. 4 people.
Over 150 people died and our own president said he has to be somewhere else since the state does not have electricity in the airport.
Usually, I no longer like to post these images but this was a foreigner (reportedly Nigerian) who was beaten to dèath yesterday in day light in South Africa.
While I’m deeply affected by the inhumaneness in these people, I’m also deeply angry at my government for allowing this to be.
I am mad. I am sad. I am broken. I don’t know who I am after seeing this gory act of violence.
A graphic illustration of why WE are where WE are, and just exactly what we are up against in the pursuit of liberty, equity, and justice. My vote counts exactly the same as his, and if our situation isn’t as tragic as it is, I’d have found a lot to laugh about in this..🇳🇬😓
🚨BREAKING: Pastor Hills Emmanuel has been found dead in Plateau State, Nigeria.
He was abducted Friday with Pastor Gabriel Joseph Dipak while traveling from Jos to Bokkos.
Gunmen set a roadblock on the Barkin Ladi–Bokkos road — witnesses said less than a mile from military checkpoints.
They pulled the two pastors from a minivan carrying nine people.
Emmanuel’s body was found Saturday near the abduction site.
He was a former Dunamis pastor and founder of The Wonderful Grace of God Evangelical Ministry in Bokkos.
Dipak was still in captivity as of Saturday. The abductors had contacted his family.
The same night, other attacks were reported across Plateau. At least four more people were killed in separate incidents in three local government areas.
Mainstream media and celebrities won't say a thing about this. Keep praying for the persecuted church!
How do we navigate our deepest theological, ideological, and philosophical differences without destroying relationships?
What do we say to people who have difficult questions or objections to our faith?
These are the kinds of questions I address in FORGIVE ME IF I WAS RUDE.
.
LOOK AT THE KIND OF THREAT I RECEIVED!
Someone threatened to slaughter me like an animal simply because of my faith and the message I preach.
This is one reason I believe the message of Jesus Christ is so powerful. Jesus taught us to love our enemies, pray for those who persecute us, and overcome evil with good (Matthew 5:44).
Christianity teaches us to love, not to threaten innocent people with death because of their faith.
I will continue to preach Christ, who gave His life for the salvation of sinners.
“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake.” — Matthew 5:10
MY FAITH IS NOT FOR SALE, AND THREATS WILL NOT SILENCE MY WITNESS FOR CHRIST
Hot take:
If Elon Musk had stayed in South Africa, we might never have heard of SpaceX, Tesla or Neuralink.
That tells you how much a country’s business environment matters for innovation and prosperity.
Africa is the poorest region in the world because our business environments don’t give entrepreneurs the freedom to innovate and create prosperity.
Sad 😢 💔
