24th May 1988 the Conservatives under Margaret Thatcher passed Section 28 to deny basic visibility to LGBT+ folk throughout education. All of them. Everywhere.

This is the funniest shit I have seen in a long time. And a woman is writing this? Depression is a clinical condition most often caused by...a chemical imbalance. Reminds me of the time I had PND and someone told me I was ungrateful because I had a lovely sea view. Righto 😂

I was chased across my sleepy well-off hometown when I was 15. He had a knife. This happens everywhere, all the time.
One school closure is too many, and it remains deeply disappointing that the NEU proceeded with this disruptive action.
But many teachers, head teachers and support staff have shown that children’s education and wellbeing must always come first. 2/2
