The worst betrayal for me as a dermatologist is from friends who know what I do, see my posts about all forms of unhealthy skin practices, but choose to use these products anyways and still run to me when it has shown them 'shege'.

Dermatologist here🤚🏿they're called sucking pads-thick skin from sucking. Can appear as blisters if areas like arms, wrist are sucked. Not a bother but can burst to form sores. Just moisturize the areas. These are not the only causes of blisters. So if worrisome get it checked

@enodamade That's why it has state branches. It's still NMA. Let's engage the state branch including ARD cos these avoidable deaths from that hospital needs it to be shut down indefinitely. If residents there don't value their doctors, leave them with quacks. It's well with the Nigerian Dr

@enodamade You're right. But let's agree that no need 4 escalation to natlnma, not yet. The state branch shd demand justice & put forward other proactive efforts to protect future lives. Possibly stop HMship in the said hosp.I was just nt comfortable wit busy wit the elections statement

@fueki_lee If I may add I,during residency, I taught medical students by ventilating these 'highfalutin' stuff when close to my exams. Let's not cheapen how seniors teach students. If jotting, they will look back at their notes someday and know it wasn't for nothing. It's a cycle.

In cases like these, I personally won't attend to him until he apologises openly to all he insulted. Nurse, if u like beg till tomorrow, I won't budge till the needful is done. We must demand respect. This is how they grow wings to full-blown violence

A patient opened the consulting room angry, said he had been waiting for hours, he insulted the Doctor, insulted the Nurse trying to calm him down.... He went out and I don't know what happened outside maybe other patient's chewed him out and told him they won't attend to him well because he was rude.... When it was his turn he came in calmer trying to form friendly and crack dry jokes. After telling the Nursing her dressing and make up is ugly.
