Opus 5 is not dumb, it's incredibly scattered, constantly forgetting instructions, has ADHD, makes simple errors after complex calculations. It needs Fable. don't know what Anthropic did to improve Opus performance but I have a feeling this is going to end badly for them.

Instead the US’s limiting of compute required Chinese AI co.s to be more creative which led to a huge leap in performance. Look up selective attention mechanism kimi. Not Claude or Chat GTP uses it.
