@azhillhermit@chadfelixg He didn't say "I don't want to work for you". He said "I dont want to work for a jew". Don't be dishonest and change the phrase, so that the whole issue disappears.
Unless your point is that jews should tolerate antisemitism, because you don't understand why it is antisemitism.
@azhillhermit@chadfelixg Also, sorry, but believing that all jews are bad because you had bad experience with a few jews is prejudice and prejudice is a form of hate.
@azhillhermit@chadfelixg Nothing is wrong in not wanting to work for someone for any reason. This is not the issue.
The issue is, to actually reply like he did. The only reason to write something like this to a potential employer is to insult him because of his ethnicity.
@azhillhermit@chadfelixg What is your question? No, the word "jew" is a proper name for the group, not a slur. The phrase as a whole is hateful (or whatever other term one wants to use).
@azhillhermit@chadfelixg I refer to the whole sentence, not one word. But if "hate speech" or "hateful remark" is a better name for it, then sure, let's go with that.
@azhillhermit@chadfelixg I am claiming that writing "i don't want to work for <ethnic group>" to a employer on a hiring platform is hate speech and if it was any other ethnic group everyone would be outraged.
