🇮🇩 Minister of Environment Hanif Faisol stated that his party will summon companies suspected of worsening the impact of the Sumatra floods.

These companies are believed to be involved in deforestation and logging in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra.

Hanif noted that the loss of tens of thousands of hectares of forest has reduced the water capacity of river basins, exacerbating the flooding.
