Nigeria's minimum wage is ₦70,000 a MONTH.
The UK's minimum wage is £12.71 an HOUR.
A British worker on minimum wage earns about £2,200 a month working full-time. That's roughly ₦4.7 million at current exchange rates. Meanwhile, a Nigerian worker earns ₦70,000 for the entire month.
What's even more insulting is that some groceries are cheaper in the UK than in Nigeria. Milk, apples, potatoes and other basics often cost less there despite their workers earning hundreds of times more.
We earn like ants and spend like elephants.
The cruelty isn't just the poverty. It's that our leaders watch millions struggle to survive and act as if this is normal. Remi Tinubu thinks her husband is doing us a favour by building “coastal road” because “flight is expensive”
I hate it here.
We have not seen destruction on this scale before.
The lower class have been obliterated. They have all been pushed below the poverty line. N55m more Nigerians pushed below the poverty line since Tinubu became president.
The middle class are in the lower class now.

@pamaxman@Ol0ye Hyundai's Abs sensors are highly sensitive, only someone that understands it can tackle changing the hub perfectly well, which is still the rewire
@Ol0ye I have said this severally this week, China has been able to crack a code and it's working powerfully for them, most especially in the African market
A woman leaving you because of struggles is understandable there’s no glory in suffering together. But trying to win that same woman back after you become financially stable is mental illness
- I maintain the argument that you have more work to do with a Woman that wants you and genuinely wants the best for you, than you do with a Woman that doesn’t really want you.
I’ll explain…
When a Woman isn’t really into you, it’d be glaring that all she’s there for is for what she can get..
And that’s not so hard to tell and figure(especially if you have money as a Man).. You can easily see all she demands is financial attention.. And you already have it.. So that’s not so much work.. You’re just stupid to think you can build something genuine with that type of person.. But it’d be an easy ride ultimately for the guy.
.
.
.
Now the Woman that indeed wants you and wants the best for you..
It’d require you to start doing better, living right, she’d desire your attention, she’d monitor your friendships, career choices, your decision making game has to be on-point, now you have to show up more beyond finances because she’d need your sense of judgement with so many things going on even in her own life.
So the question is..
Are you even mentally ready for a good woman that genuinely wants you ?
Are you a solid human being enough to navigate life with a super solid Woman ?
It’s simple!(and ironic too) coz it’s easier dealing with babes that are not really into you.
Why do you think simps with money almost always get to be with useless girls then get burnt later ?
The ‘loser’ in them is just trying to use money to cover up for what is required of them to be with a sensible woman that genuinely wants them.
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, who recently lost her 21-month-old son, has released a statement detailing the circumstances surrounding his death.
ARISE News reached out to Adichie’s media team, who confirmed that she did author the statement. According to her representatives, the message was originally sent privately to family members and a few close friends.
"My son would be alive today if not for an incident at Euracare Hospital on January 6th.
We were in Lagos for Christmas. Nkanu had what we first thought was just a cold, but soon turned into a very serious infection and he was admitted to Atlantis hospital.
He was to travel to the US the next day, January 7th, accompanied by Travelling Doctors. A team at Johns Hopkins was waiting to receive him in Baltimore. The Hopkins team had asked for a lumbar puncture test and an MRI. The Nigerian team had also decided to put in a 'central line' (used to administer iv medications) in preparation for Nkanu's flight. Atlantis hospital referred us to Euracare Hospital, which was said to be the best place to have the procedures done.
The morning of the 6th, we left Atlantis hospital for Euracare, Nkanu carried in his father's arms. We were told he would need to be sedated to prevent him from moving during the MRI and the 'central line' procedure.
I was waiting just outside the theater. I saw people, including Dr M, rushing into the theater and immediately knew something had happened.
A short time later, Dr M came out and told me Nkanu had been given too much propofol by the anesthesiologist, had become unresponsive and was quickly resuscitated. But suddenly Nkanu was on a ventilator, he was intubated and placed in the ICU. The next thing I heard was that he had seizures. Cardiac arrest. All these had never happened before. Some hours later, Nkanu was gone
It turns out that Nkanu was NEVER monitored after being given too much propofol. The anesthesiologist had just casually carried Nkanu on his shoulder to the theater, so nobody knows when exactly Nkanu became unresponsive.
How can you sedate a sick child and neglect to monitor him? Later, after the 'central line' procedure, the anesthesiologist casually switched off Nkanu's oxygen and again decided to carry him on his shoulder to the ICU!
The anesthesiologist was CRIMINALLY negligent. He was fatally casual and careless with the precious life of a child. No proper protocol was followed.
We brought in a child who was unwell but stable and scheduled to travel the next day. We came to conduct basic procedures. And suddenly, our beautiful little boy was gone forever. It is like living your worst nightmare. I will never survive the loss of my child.
We have now heard about two previous cases of this same anesthesiologist overdosing children. Why did Euracare allow him to keep working? This must never happen to another child".
