The end goal of what you highlighted is to increase/improve disposable income.
I think this government has done somethings to improve disposable income too.

Beyond improving revenue, the National tax act was passed to improve disposable income.

Company income tax was reduced from 30% to 25%.
Small companies (typically those with annual turnover up to ₦50–100 million and fixed assets not exceeding ₦250 million, depending on precise thresholds in analyses) are exempt from CIT(0% CIT). Many are also exempt from capital gains tax and the development levy.
Personal Income Tax (PIT).

Low-income earners are largely exempted from PIT(those earning national minimum wage or less, or up to ₦800,000–₦1.2 million annually), with rent relief of up to 20% of annual rent, often capped around ₦500,000, which can bring taxable income to zero for many.

Additional deductions/reliefs cover items like pension contributions, insurance, and housing fund payments.
80 % of workers will pay no PAYE or lower taxes.

For Value Added Tax (VAT), while the rate is retained at 7.5%, there is Zero-rating (or exemption) on essentials such as food, healthcare, education and power.
There is also broader ability for businesses to claim input VAT credits on expenses, services, and assets (previously more restricted), which is expected to provide substantial relief.

Federal Government has also removed or waived key taxes primarily import duty and VAT on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Liquefied Petroleum Gas (cooking gas), and related items/equipment to support cleaner energy adoption, lower transport/energy costs, and reduce household expenses.

Indirectly, the government has also improved disposable income by improving the adoption of health insurance across the country ( we recently crossed 20 million insured Nigerians), while NELFUND has also provided huge relief to parents and students. The government is also improving credit availability and adoption through CREDICORP and National Credit Guarantee Company Limited (NCGC).

This list is by no means exhaustive.

The government clearly needs to do more. I believe transportation, food and housing cost needs to be tackled aggressively but this doesn’t mean the government hasn’t done anything

You just know he's jobless. Get him a job at Shell, Chevron, ExxonMobil, KPMG, Seplat Energy, or Schlumberger. Send him on one or two foreign trips for assignments or training, and watch this foolishness end.

You are not preaching any gospel; you are constituting a nuisance. Have you ever wondered if non-Christians are there? Don't you think you might be inconveniencing them?

We really need to ban these types of activities. Religion and its practices should be a matter of personal choice. Evangelism should have gone past this stage. You can share flyers, use social media, or any other means that doesn't disturb public peace.

I don't understand why people will leave their houses in search of their daily bread, and you start disturbing them in public transport, marketplaces, parks, etc. Imagine if a traditional worshipper or a Muslim did the same thing.

To make it even worse, this preaching usually ends one way: soliciting for tithes, seeds, and offerings. You're in business, so why wouldn't you preach the gospel until your last breath? 😂
