A6- We discussed how the death of Piggy related to how Jack's tribe would hunt and kill the pigs on the island #ConigsLOFT

[Curtis C @seh_Curtis]

@seh_Alessandra I think Golding used Piggy and Simons death to show how the boys turned into 'beasts' and were no longer themselves

[Curtis C @seh_Curtis]

A5- In today's society, is there a 'beast' in each of us that we fail to recognize like in the book? #ConigsLOFT

[Curtis C @seh_Curtis]

@seh_joseph I think Golding uses it to show how all the boys are starting to believe that everything on the island they see is the 'beast'

[Curtis C @seh_Curtis]

A4- During the discussion, we discussed how Ralph is seeing how hard being a leader is and dealing with the littluns #ConigsLOFT

A3- One question I still have is will the feud between Ralph and Jack cause someone to end up being hurt later on in the book? #ConigsLOFT

[Curtis C @seh_Curtis]

@seh_joseph I agree. I think that if the group trusts eachother, that will determine how well they can survive on the island

[Curtis C @seh_Curtis]

A2- It was fun debating about our perspectives over all the concepts learned throughout chapters 1-4 #ConigsLOFT

[Curtis C @seh_Curtis]

WK6A3- Racism has not gone away over the years. We judge people before we get to know them which causes this issue #AABSlowchat

[Curtis C @seh_Curtis]

WK6A2- Having a honest conversation would be hard b/c not everyone is going to agree with eachother. It would be difficult #AABslowchat

[Curtis C @seh_Curtis]

WK6A1- I agree because you aren't taking a side. You are keeping the issue the same which makes the issue worse not better #AABslowchat

[Curtis C @seh_Curtis]

WK5A7- I feel that if something is really important to you, you need to believe in yourself and have faith in what you want #AABslowchat

[Curtis C @seh_Curtis]

WK5A6- Rashad draws the face on his art piece to show others how they should not be invisible and forgotten. #AABslowchat

[Curtis C @seh_Curtis]

WK5A5- I feel the type of clothes that you wear reflects who you are. You want people to judge you in a good way not a bad way. #AABslowchat

[Curtis C @seh_Curtis]

WK5A4- I feel you can't be a team without sharing your thoughts b/c you can't play a team sport without trusting one another #AABslowchat

[Curtis C @seh_Curtis]

WK5A3- I would do the right thing b/c your friends will later realize you made the right decision and in time respect them. #AABSlowchat
