It is more likely that you would have to perform CPR on a loved one. In the UK 4/10 people don't know how to. No Pakistan figures to compare.

My all day NHS operating has been left with 3 out of 5 slots unused - 2 patients decided on Wednesday that the date did not suit (having previously confirmed) and 1 this morning did not want to wait to be second on the list, so left. They have waited nearly a year for surgery.
Two murders which should have shocked our national conscience but instead are being celebrated for "ensuring swift justice."
Abdul Ali of Quetta who was accused of blasphemy last week for certain statements he was seen making in a video recording. A FIR was registered against him, he was taken into custody by Police and then shot by a Police Officer Saayd Muhammad Sarhadi. Today even the legal heirs of Abdul Ali condemned the decreased's actions and pardoned the Police Officer for committing the murder. Sarhadi is otherwise being hailed as a hero with his act being glorified as a service to religion.
We will never know if Abdul Ali was an actual blasphemer who willfully and knowingly committed blasphemy for which he should have faced a trial under the law or was he a man suffering from any mental illness something which is not uncommon in cases of blasphemy. Under Section 49 of the Balochistan Mental Health Act 2019 it is mandatory for the Govt to conduct a psychiatric assesment of any person who is accused of blasphemy as certain mental health conditions can make a person delusional and cause them to make statements or claims which otherwise are considered blasphemous under the law.
Dr. Shahnawaz of Umerkot who was accused of blasphemy yesterday for certain posts made on social media from an account operating under his name. Dr. Shahnawaz later posted a video claiming that the account in question was an old account not under his use anymore and that he is being framed. Again a FIR was registered and while the Police was allegedly making an attempt to arrest him he was killed in an encounter. It is claimed that Dr. Shahnawaz was hiding with an accomplice who had a gun and the accomplice opened fire at the Police and during the exchange Dr. Shahnawaz was killed by his own friend's firing. This is the most common story given by Police in cases of fake encounters when they claim that the deceased was killed in an encounter but not by police.
The Police in Umerkot also since morning have been receiving delegations of people with garlands congratulating the police for this "great service to religion". We will never know if Dr. Shahnawaz was actually the one making the post for which he should have faced investigation and a trial or was he framed as he alleged. Not only should the claims of Dr. Sambal must be investigated about someone else making blasphemous posts under his name but the encounter itself must be subjected to an enquiry.
Both incidents involve killing of blasphemy accused by Police Officials. If proper investigations are not made and if any foul play, if found, is not punished then tomorrow any citizen can become a victim and be framed as a blasphemer. Opening and operating a social media account under someone else's name is not an uphill task. Anyone can steal your identity and make you appear a blasphemer and then your choices are either to die at the hands of the mob or at the hands of an over zealous cop who has forgotten his oath and duty or worse be declared a casualty in an encounter.
May Allah have mercy on all of us.
