If the oppression unfolding in Palestine -upon your brothers and sisters -does not shake your soul, then perhaps your soul is no longer with you. If the cries of those children do not cause your heart to tremble, then perhaps you no longer have a heart. And that is a terrifying thought.

Ask yourself: who are you? What kind of human have you become? What has hardened your heart so much that you are no longer able to feel the pain that cries out to be felt? The pain that demands to be acknowledged.

To feel another’s suffering — to truly feel it — is what it means to have a heart. To shake at the cry of another’s anguish is what it means to still be human.

Am I a Believer or a hypocrite?
Am I truly a believer, or am I merely going through the motions?

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“The most burdensome prayers for the hypocrites are the ‘Ishā’ and Fajr prayers. If they knew the virtue of them, they would come to them, even if they had to crawl.”
— Sahih Muslim

This Hadith serves as a mirror, reflecting our inner state. If we find ourselves consistently neglecting the Fajr prayer, especially when no one is watching, it’s a moment to pause and reflect.

It’s not about labeling ourselves but about recognizing the signs. The early morning prayer is a test of sincerity, a measure of our commitment when comfort beckons us to stay in bed.

If we rise for Fajr, pushing through sleep and inertia, it signifies a heart striving for Allah’s pleasure. If we don’t, it’s a call to examine our priorities and renew our intentions.

Let’s reflect: do our actions align with our professed beliefs, or do they reveal hypocrisy?

Although facing the truth isn’t attractive at first , the longer one follows it the sweeter it becomes. This is the opposite of outward forms that charm us at first, but longer you sit with them thinking they are all there is, the colder you become.
Examine a person ? What’s his form compared to his meaning ? If the sense of that person departs, we wouldn’t let him loose in our house for a single moment !

I never intended to use this space for political commentary, but the tragic aftermath of Pahalgam and my growing concern over rising tensions between two nations have left me no choice. What disturbs me most is the role of certain media outlets particularly shows like Arnaab’s—that have transformed journalism into a theatre of misinformation. With loud visuals, aggressive tones, and dramatized narratives, they distort facts and incite fear, polluting the public mind.

For the sake of public sanity and intellectual integrity, it’s time this broadcast is taken off air. Enough theatrics and Bollywood Darama !

At this point, I’m just waiting for a drone carrying common sense to accidentally crash into his studio—might be the first “Breaking News”they actually get right.
