You can count on support from various experts in groups at DTU Nanolab, NanoPhoton – Center for Nanophotonics, and DTU Physics to achieve the project and personal goals.
Please RT: Are you interested in imaging light-induced charge carrier accumulation at semiconductor nanoparticle crystal facets using advanced electron microscopy?
The postdoc position is fully funded by the @VILLUMFONDEN and will be hosted @DTUNanolab.

@VILLUMFONDEN@DTUNanolab We aim to image light-induced charge carrier accumulation at semiconductor nanoparticle crystal facets using advanced electron microscopy techniques. A successful implementation will require integrating a light source in DTU Nanolab’s state-of-the-art electron microscopes.
I want to use this opportunity to thank @VILLUMFONDEN for giving me the chance to explore fundamental processes in photocatalysis.
I will soon open a postdoc position for this interdisciplinary project. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested!

@DTUNanolab In particular, the goal is to develop a setup capable of imaging the accumulation of the generated charge carriers at specific crystal facets at an atomic scale using various advanced microscopy techniques.
Great to have had Michael Seifner @seifner_m from @DTUNanolab visiting for invited seminar at @tu_wien! Thanks for great talk about his exciting work on Fundamental Aspects of Catalysis Enlightened by In-Situ Studies in the Environmental Transmission Electron Microscope! 🎓👍😃
Are you participating in #EUROMAT2023 and excited about mapping extremely confined electric fields in topology-optimized photonic cavities using electron microscopy? I will be giving a talk tomorrow at 10:30 am (symposium D01). See you there!

@Ella_Maru @AdvSciNews Understanding such processes at an atomic level is critical for gaining control over the growth process by identifying potential ways to manipulate the crystal growth.
@Ella_Maru @AdvSciNews In general, using different seed particles is interesting for controlling crystal properties including morphology and crystal structure. We show that accumulating Ga in the Cu-based seed particle leads to the formation of an additional liquid phase that initiates crystal kinking.
