@Swimmingsolo1@MauraRose61@KellyMatshall Weekels spent at least £60 getting a misquote from Kirk permanently etched into her leg, so naturally she has to double down on her support for him, regardless of the facts
@dianne2177@KellyMatshall Don't talk nonsense. A couple of bonfires are lit in Derry every year, and nowhere else. It's a last gasp of dissident Republicaniasm, that is rejected by the vast majority, and has nothing to do with right-wing attempts to stir up racial hatred on the island. Stop shit stirring.
@DansBigIdeas@EoinPandabear@KellyMatshall I know many people who aren't Irish, but are Gaels. I also know many Irish people who are not, and never will be, Gaels.
If you put 5000 people in a room, and only 2 of them were Gaels, they would recognise each other.
@DansBigIdeas@EoinPandabear@KellyMatshall A Gael doesn't have to speak Irish, or play Gaelic sports, or any musical instrument. A Gael doesn't discriminate on religious or political grounds. Being a Gael is a mindset based on community.
@HoratioNelson0@RedBSierra Should I question where they get them from? Is that important? They're all stolen property, and I don't care about the religious or political beliefs of either side.
I also don't care how long you've been doing anything - why would I?
@HoratioNelson0@RedBSierra Yes, I mentioned PUL, as in the PUL community, which you already knew. Or perhaps I should have said 'your lot'?
As for the pallets, stealing and burning them is illegal and wrong, regardless of the religious/political background of the thieves involved.
@ghost__orwell@FightHypocrisy1 'likely' is a softer version of 'probably' which, in posts like this, translate as, "I have zero proof, but my personal bias leads me to believe...". That's all I meant.
@DanielH34724431@jimmymc1961@NornEye@chrisadonnelly@FeileBelfast I opined that platforming Bryson as the spokesperson for PULism was causing more damage than good for that cause. I thought your response - 'didn't exist in a vacuum' etc - was in some way justifying him. If that's not the case, I apologise and withdraw the inference.
@DanielH34724431@jimmymc1961@NornEye@chrisadonnelly@FeileBelfast It wasn't my intention to go down any rabbit holes. I now realise that you were comparing Adams to Bryson in terms of writing etc, and I have to ask - seriously? Adams can be quite amusing - on purpose - at times. Bryson is hilarious, in the worst, most illiterate way, always.
