Our co-founder @nhoening was invited by a DER/VPP learning group in the U.S. West Coast to talk about #FlexMeasures.
DER = Distributed Energy Resources
VPP = Virtual Power Plant

If you're wondering why people think that vehicle-to-grid technology could play a major role in system-level energy:
There's 10x+ more storage capacity shipped in cars than in grid-tied stationary batteries.
Next TSC call on February 16th (today).
Everybody is invited. Topics: what is FM? Heat optimization. Roadmap priorities.

Our co-founder @nhoening recently talked to @NathanPamart about what we do on his excellent #climatetech podcast LUZ.
See Nathan's summary in this thread, or click to listen!
I had an insightful conversation with Nicolas, co-founder of Seita, about the role of software in bringing more flexibility to energy consumption. Here is what I learned 🧵 1/10

I had an awesome time at #FOSDEM last weekend!
A video of my talk about the V2GLiberty project (and @FlexMeasures) is now available online:

I co-organized a well-visited #energy dev-room, thanks to all other volunteers. Very, very impressive event!!
Next weekend, we're going to #FOSDEM in Brussels, co-hosting the #energy devroom and talking about our all-open-source #v2g lab (using #FlexMeasures, of course).
Hooray Open Source ― Looking forward!
Reminder that FlexMeasures lets you plot data on the command line.
Why. Because we can.
Well, actually, this can be handy for maintaining a server on the terminal and not having to switch context to access its UI.
This took a longer time than usual, but we're very happy it's out.
The UI feature (see earlier tweets) is awesome, but the major work was in architecture design for our vision of where scheduling will go!
We just released FlexMeasures version 0.12!
Main features:
- Custom scheduling, ready to support flexibility beyond storage (heat is next!)
- Playback button in UI
Get it on PyPi and Docker!

We hope The Netherlands will turn greener in 2023 with new wind parks in the North Sea coming online!
Germany, our other home base, looking interesting that particular day!
Next TSC call on January 3rd.
Everybody is invited. Topics: what is FlexMeasures, what's new in v0.12 and what are the next steps.

Latest visualization of a #FlexMeasures simulation in the built environment.
We're looking forward to releasing version 0.12 (which is almost done), where this UI feature is built in!
We are #hiring. Let's reduce CO2 reduction in the built environment!

Erg blij met het Landelijk Actieprogramma Netcongestie.
Het net moet sneller worden uitgebreid, slimmer worden benut en er moet meer flexibiliteit komen.
Nu samen met overheden, toezichthouder en marktpartijen aan de slag!
