Individual biotechs are trading crazy lately. A $3B company I follow trades down 10%+ during the first 15 min on semi-light volume and now makes it back to green. Clearly a fund blowing out of the position in the morning (there was no meaningful news). This is a $3B co not $30M.
Is there a worse thing an analyst can say about a biotech company than "2022 is about execution." In other words, no data on the horizon, see you in 2023.
Pfizer, a company with half a dozen $1B+ drugs, is dedicating its entire JPM presentation to mRNA and the 3 deals (Beam, Acuitas, Codex) it's announced today. That's telling.

@camelus_minimus Hi Jan, I am Miaozhu. Do you still remember me?I studied epidemiology in your mom Prof. Krämer's lab.I really thank for her support and care. How are you&your parents? It seems virus is serious in Germany, I try to contact her via email, but not sure she got it. Wish you all well
The opportunities that were important…that were gonna come to me…were few and the trick was to prepare myself for seizing the few that came. You’re going to blow one occasionally. My general idea is there’s no point in fretting too much about what you can’t fix.
From @kaifulee's super book #AISuperpowers, projections of "risk of replacement" for cognitive and physical labor. As he puts the bottom line:
"Within 10-20 years, I estimate we will be technically capable of automating 40-50% of jobs in the US"
