Today marks a special conclusion to Lux No. 7, the final piece of the Lux series. The bidders editions have officially been minted and airdropped to the 14 unique bidders who participated in the auction for this last work (list below).

The piece is titled Kinesis. At its core, it is a kinetic digital artwork built through creative coding. Unlike a GIF or looping video, its motion unfolds across long, interlocking cycles that can only exist in its living, dynamic form. Each cycle is the result of multiple layers of a single pendulum light painting, stacked and rotated at slightly different speeds. As they move, the layers drift in and out of phase with one another, creating fleeting alignments and dissolutions. What emerges is something like a digital kinetic sculpture, a visual meditation that rewards time and patience.

The rhythms that drive Kinesis feel almost uncanny. There is a relative cycle of 4 minutes and 20 seconds, where the layers briefly realign but not in their starting positions, and a global cycle of just over 69 hours, where the entire system finally returns to its exact original state. The fact that these cycles landed on 420 and 69 feels almost too perfect to be chance, giving the work not only a deep mathematical structure but also a kind of memetic respect embedded in its timing.

Each of the 14 bidders has now received their own unique color variation of Kinesis. Some editions revolve around a single dominant hue, while others explore a pairing of primary and secondary colors. The assignments were determined through a pseudo random algorithm seeded by the Ethereum block hash of the Lux No. 7 mint, ensuring fairness while preserving uniqueness.

This moment also represents something larger. Kinesis is more than a single artwork, it is the final gesture of the Lux series and the closing of Chapter 1 of Pursuit of Equilibrium. It feels fitting that this chapter ends with a work that distills the spirit of the entire series: an interplay of light, motion, and time that reveals order through chance.

To the 14 collectors who now hold these bidders editions, you are part of the closing verse in this first chapter, and your participation helped bring this journey full circle.

Thingies are companions to Flufs. Thingies have a form of Altered State Machine AI brain inside and are able to create and mint their own generative artworks. We are currently in the Lucid Dreaming phase of art creation where you can choose an artistic style for your Thingies work to be influenced by. Later phases are rumoured to include word prompts and 3D object creation – with the help of Buzzies.

@betterme Fasting for 15 hours is not healthy the brain and liver need glucose from fruit for energy . When it doesn't get it the adrenals push out adrenaline which isn't good because the adrenaline is toxic and designed for emergencies only. Can't lose weight ? it's your sluggish liver.
