One of the types of #unidirectionalfabrics and tapes in #CarbonFiber we produce is unidirectional fabrics (NCFs) stitched with thin textured polyester yarns. The know-how developed over the years has led to the production of a range of fabrics ranging from 100 gr/M² to 600 gr/M².
Selcom is proud to have brought its know-how on board of the just ended @americascup. We have supplied most of the #carbonfiber#multiaxialfabrics for the components installed in all the racing boats. A great challenge!

Selcom is strongly committed to promoting the use of #biocompatiblefabrics made with natural fibers such as linen, bamboo, cellulose fiber or mineral fibers such as basalt. Discover everything about our new biocompatible fabrics here > https://t.co/uZh6O0yxva
The versatility of the #PowderCoating Technology + the possibility to use a wide range of polymers having different melting temperatures, viscosities and compatibilities with most of the matrix resins are the reasons why it is selected over other systems. https://t.co/AyehgSPwQp
#Multiaxials are commonly used in the green energy sector and we think that contributing in renewable energy is a core objective. Supporting clean energy is an important step to help not only our customers but also the environment around us. https://t.co/Zlv8dm9l0t
Selcom believes in innovation, sustainability and circular economy. That’s why we produce reinforcement “hybrid” fabrics composed of fibers of different nature: chemical, mineral and/or vegetable. Read the article about our new #biocompatiblefabrics here: https://t.co/xXsswVGU1Y
Woven "E" Glass Unidirectional Fabrics are typically used in Marine applications. Find out their characteristics on our website: https://t.co/nZWSuZDg4r

One of the main features of Selcom #multiaxialfabrics is the drapeability: the parallel fibre layers are stitched with a texturized polyester yarn and there can be different stitching types, depending on the final application. https://t.co/SEyc57zzWN

Selcom celebra la vittoria di @lunarossa e l'accesso alle finali. Buon vento ragazzi!
Selcom celebrates the access to the finals of @lunarossa at the @americascup. Fair winds!
Our Open Meshes in #CarbonFiber are used for the structural reinforcement of concrete, prestressed, masonry, steel and wood and they are thermofixed with “E” glass fiber coated with thermoplastic materials that provide stability with cutting and handling. https://t.co/kv3Ail23oj
The fabrics used in the #aerospace industry are mainly made of #CarbonFiber because this kind of fiber combines the best stiffness properties and low density. Selcom invested in the best machinery for the production of ultralight Carbon Fabrics.

This year has been very difficult and has pushed many of us to our limits. We hope 2021 will be a year of full optimism and joy. Selcom would like to wish you all a peaceful festive season and a Happy and healthy 2021.
We inform the our offices will be closed from 24/12 to 03/01.
The flexibility of multiaxial construction technology makes it possible to satisfy a variety of different system applications, e.g. light aircrafts, automotive, marine, civil engineering, sports, wind energy.
