🇺🇸🍽️🇦🇹 Last week, Ambassador Fisher hosted an investor luncheon at his residence, bringing together Austrian business leaders who are investing — or considering investing — in the United States.

🌎 The event marked the launch of our recruitment efforts for the 2027 @SelectUSA Investment Summit, taking place May 2–5 in the Washington, D.C. area. Around 40 investors, partners, and economic development representatives joined the discussion to exchange perspectives and explore investment opportunities across the United States.

📈 Ambassador Fisher expressed his appreciation for Austria’s continued commitment to the U.S. market — a cornerstone of our strong bilateral relationship. As the world’s largest economy and the leading destination for foreign direct investment, the United States offers Austrian companies access to a dynamic consumer market, a world-class ecosystem for innovation and technology, and a business environment designed for growth.

🤝 Thank you to all participants for joining us and for your continued commitment to strengthening the U.S.-Austrian economic partnership.

Wonderful to visit @Equitom1 and the Equine Care Group headquarters in Lummen, Belgium, where Bryan and I were warmly welcomed by Dr. Tom Mariën for a tour of their impressive facility. 🐴🇧🇪
We joined ECG's shareholders and management team to discuss their U.S. growth strategy — including their April expansion into Texas through a partnership with Salado Equine Medical Center. This partnership is accelerating cross-border collaboration and innovation while building a truly transatlantic, veterinarian-led network. 🌍🐎
The Embassy is proud to support this growth through the U.S. Department of Commerce's @SelectUSA program — helping companies like ECG navigate regulatory pathways and connect with economic development authorities as they scale in the U.S. market.
Here's to more transatlantic collaboration ahead! 🇺🇸🇧🇪
