Scientists across the country are expressing alarm as the Trump administration dismantles another tool for understanding how the planet is changing.

Starting this month, more than 900 deep-sea ocean sensors will be pulled out of the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans off the coast of Washington, Oregon, Alaska, North Carolina, and Greenland.

Researchers say these are critical ocean observation tools.

According to the shelter, Jax is overwhelmed and anxious in the chaotic shelter environment. The “incident”? He gave a minor bite when someone picked him up while he was getting into trash. That’s it.

Meanwhile, staff also say he’s friendly, takes treats, and allows petting.

Jax doesn’t sound vicious he sounds stressed and overstimulated. Big difference.

He is currently listed as rescue only (no foster), and

🚨 SAVE LUCY: A Soldier Saved Her in War. Now She Faces Death Over a MINOR Complaint at Home

Lucy is an 11-year-old dog who survived the Middle East and was brought home by U.S. Army veteran Brendan Jones after they bonded during deployment.

She has been with his family for 10 years and has never spent a day away from them… until now.

Lucy is currently sitting in the Shenandoah County Animal Shelter in Edinburg, Virginia, facing possible e*thanasia.

She is sitting there confused and alone after a lifetime with the family who loves her.

A year ago, Lucy had a single incident while recovering from surgery, medicated, and wearing a cone. A jogger’s arm reached inside the cone, and she reacted with one defensive nip, then immediately let go. Even that person did not want to press charges.

After that, the county labeled Lucy a dangerous dog.

On April 17th in Strasburg, Lucy slipped out of her collar for a few seconds on her own property and barked at someone walking by. She did not attack anyone and never left the yard.

That was enough for her to be taken.

Now she is sitting in a cage after a lifetime with her family.

Lucy is not dangerous. She is a senior dog who deserves to spend her final years with the family who loves her.

Willie is a beautiful 8 year old male cat. He is looking for a loving home with someone who can give him belly rubs and plenty of attention.
He likes to get outside and explore.
Willie is use to kids from 12 years upwards and doesn't mind being petted and picked up.
He has been around other cats before and he was fine with them but some of the other cats didn't like him. No dogs.
Willie will sleep on a cat tree or the children's bed in the home.
He will eat anything and isn't fussy.
Ideally he would be great in a home with a family who have older kids or someone who is looking for a companion.
He has had a flea and worm treatment.
Willie will use a litter tray in the house.

These four beautiful cats are in desperate need of a home. They lived with their daddy for all 8 years of their lives until sadly, he passed from cancer. Now they are all alone in the house. The cats grew up only knowing one human, so they will be shy with new people. They are 100% litterbox trained, and they are already spayed, neutered, and vaccinated.
Fluffy is the medium-hair gray kitty, Maxine is the dilute tortie, Whitepatch is the short-hair black kitty with a white patch, and Snowflake is the medium-hair black beauty, born with enophthalmos in her left her eye so it appears "sunken". Ideally all 4 cats could be rehomed together, home would be for all 4 cats, but Whitepatch and Fluffy are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. The adoption fees will be covered for all four of these cats, so please open your heart and your home if you can find a way to help them.
