This afternoon we walked from St.Aubin to Tailleville where Deb presented a quilt her students made representing the North Shore heroes. Emotions? Wow. Just Wow!
This morning we participated in a memorial to the North Shore Regiment in Carpiquet. The respect this community holds for our heroes is deep and endless.
The Dutch people honor their World War II liberators by lighting candles on Christmas Eve at all the war graves.
At the π¨π¦ Canadian cemetery in Groesbeek, thanks to hundreds of volunteers, a candle has been lit at each of the 2619 graves, and will stay burning tomorrow.
Thanks to @JMHTommies for hosting the Special Olympics Wildcats in front of a sold out gym yesterday. The Wildcats won 36-34 with a buzzer beater by Tommie alumnus, Andrew "Sully" Sullivan.
