Dear Chukwuebuka,
Thank you for your feedback. Forgive my shock. I was just taken aback at the sheer audacity of Ozurumba's claim that oil from the East was used to develop Lagos. I do agree with you that Anambra and Imo have oil. You also forgot to include Abia.
Please fact-check me. Imo produces only 17,000 barrels per day. Abia produces 11,000 barrels per day. Anambra's oil output is meagre and does not yet impact Nigeria's production. I believe it came on stream in 2022.
Ondo state alone generates 60,000 barrels per day. That is 3.5% of Nigeria's total output.
The Lagos State, which Ozurumba claimed was built with oil money from the East, generated 40,000 barrels daily. That is 2.7% of Nigeria's total daily output. Chukwuebuka, Lagos alone contributes more oil to Nigeria than the five Southeastern states combined. Again, please fact-check me.
Given the above facts, would you and Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu like to revisit your claims?
Thanks again, and may God bless you.

@SaharaReporters It doesn't hold waters, we've had people hold offices which are not related to their educational background in this country.

@ArewaTwiter Nothing new, we've seen it in the past administrations that favor their kinsmen, until we practice true democracy in Nigeria forget it.
Those complaining today was quiet when it was in their favor.
@renoomokri It came a little bit late, but is a right step to sanitize the monetary policy and the economy.
He dealt with Nigerians with the new naira policy of which many are yet to recover till date.
@SaharaReporters No matter how remarkable that 1963 constitution is, it should be jettisoned, lets us instead draft a new one with some elements of the 1963 and infuse the present day realities.
We should be progressive and not retrogressive.

@Naija_PR His mindset is conditioned to live where he is,cos there is a disconnect with the outside world for so long, hence the fear of not surviving out there if he escape.
The mindset is the issue here.
