While I’m on here expressing myself: I am a pregnant woman w/ respiratory issues who’s immune system is compromised. I can wear a mask & social distance, but I’m heavily dependent on the public also being careful. Please don’t let fatigue keep you from being careful about COVID.
If you’re calling for martial law, secession, or a branch of government to overthrow the results of a democratic election, your vote was never about fighting for freedom. It was fighting for your right to stay a racist bigot and deny equal treatment to all humans.
If you don't feel well in line/have a physical ailment, tell your poll workers. When I experienced morning sickness in line they held my place and had designated seating for people who felt ill until it was their turn. Workers said it's standard, so you shouldn't be denied.
If no one gets hit by a car at my precinct today, I'll be genuinely shocked. Parking is full, parking on the street is lined up to a blind curve, and people are lined up down the road. Happy for the turnout, just wish someone would come direct this mess.
Total time to vote: 1 hour 34 min. The longest that precinct has ever seen according to workers/long time residents. They had upgraded to 4 machines by the time I got to vote, but lots of rumblings in line about whether they could be trusted since they were still malfunctioning.
