seems like the calculator really very off, no one will join if you promise only 5USD/mo to give your M3 ULTRA away for almost a full day. here are my numbers for almost a day. turned it off
With codex i was able to configure tmux the way i want without spending days on testing/stackoverflowing(i almost forgot about this site already!).
What tmux does for me:
- session save/restore
- status bar with current machine I'm on
- battery/time left to empty/charged with colors
- current week/date/time
Status bar actually has two modes - full and compact, if I connect from the phone I have most of my attention to tabs, not the current week/time.
@thsottiaux somehow remote codex feature is not very stable, also impossible to use from two locations at same time(mobile/desktop codexes).
would be nice to be able to use it like tmux sessions, so you can see live changes in all connected apps
oh btw, been watching @dhh and his @OmarchyLinux videos lately. looks neat, BUT.
I have loooong relationships with Linux and not ready to turn back yet, but I tried to find something good as a tiling manager for Mac. Aerospace is something.
There are some bugs, of course. Apple doesn't open all of it's APIs.. but it still works great.
- assign apps to spaces
- moving apps around
- shortcuts for everything
- fast app switching
- configuration is easy for codex
