No wonder our verges are full of litter in West Sussex. Just tried to report a problem with polystyrene foam at the top of Bury Hill to #Arundistrictcouncil and gave up the will to live, transferred so many times then cut off! Greer. Rant over!

@ColourfulFi1 Definitely here in Sussex. Our knapweed and hogweed meadow is full of them. A visitor counted eight species!

@AllwoodsPlants @LavenderPinks Approx 1ft high, gangly habit... like a carnation? Flowers look like a species flower, not large. Delicately perfumed. Very long slim calcyxes.

@LavenderPinks wondering if you can help me definitively identify this Dianthus the birds brought me please? It's fragrant, the foliage is coarse like a carnation, flower smallish, calyx long. Seeds mildly.
