@greateranglia Where does it go after that? There must be a way to get a message to the cleaners at the depot/endpoint, or better yet the train driver/conductor. I know it’s possible via the British Transport Police, do you have a similar way of contacting them?

@greateranglia They said that she had to go to the opposite side of the station to report it. She was physically unable to do so, and also had to get the next train available to Ipswich. The station staff would not help her further and left her at the platform.

@greateranglia She’s currently at Colchester awaiting the next train. The train with the stick on is going to manningtree and now Harwich apparently. It’s this train, sorry it was the 18:02!

@British_Airways BA2835 engine caught fire during flight Dubrovnik to London Gatwick. Plane emergency landed in Venice where all staff have left gate 62 leaving 200 passengers stranded with no update for over 5 hours.
