#AmazonFBA
Amazon liability insurance, from November 2, 2026:
$1M per occurrence and in aggregate for products in categories with enhanced safety listing requirements, even under $10,000 a month in gross proceeds.
It reaches listings already live, not only new ones.
"Amazon ended FBA prep and labeling, what happens to my unlabeled inventory?"
It gets received, Amazon flags a defect in the Inbound Performance Dashboard, applies the label itself and charges an unplanned service fee per unit. US store, since January 1, 2026.
"My FBA reimbursement was denied for unexpected units."
It means the shipment stopped matching the shipping plan. Amazon's three cases: units that don't match the plan, overages added to the plan, or a shipment judged short shipped.
Ask the case which FNSKU it logged.
Amazon Ads opens Review Requests in open beta in the US in late October 2026.
It asks recent buyers for a rating while they are still shopping on Amazon.
Only products under 1,000 total ratings and reviews qualify. Campaigns pause on their own at 1,000.
"Why am I being charged a returns processing fee?"
Because it bills in arrears. Amazon counts returns across the month you shipped plus the next two, then charges the units above your category threshold.
Units you shipped in October get that bill in January.
"My FBA inventory report doesn't match Manage Your Inventory."
Usually not a loss. Amazon's own guidance: one inventory snapshot a day, max.
Split reserved into customer orders and FC processing. Claim only a transfer out with no transfer in.
"My listing was deactivated for a product authenticity complaint."
What brings it back: supplier invoices from the last 365 days, covering the units you actually sold, with supplier name, phone, address and website.
A licence to sell is not proof of authenticity.
"Why is my FBA inventory stuck in Reserved FC Processing?"
FC Transfer is normal: 1 to 5 days, up to 30 in some cases.
FC Processing means the units were set aside: dimension check, open investigation, removal order.
Claim window: 60 days from the report date.
My FBA removal order came back with units missing. Now what?
Amazon auto-reimburses units lost in a fulfillment center. Removal claims it does not: you file those yourself.
Arrived short or damaged: 30 days from delivery.
Shipment lost: day 15 to day 75.
Why is my FBA inventory stranded?
The units are in the warehouse. The active offer is not.
Close a listing, delete it, or flip the SKU to merchant fulfilled and the stock loses the offer pointing at it.
Storage still bills. Fix stranded inventory is where you relist it.
Why is my CPC higher than my bid?
Two Amazon multipliers sit on top of it.
Placement bid adjustment: up to 900%.
Dynamic bids up and down: up to 100%.
A $1.00 bid can be submitted at $10.00.
Check the Placements tab before you blame the auction.
Invoice higher than Campaign Manager shows?
Two documented reasons.
1. Off Amazon placements are billed but only appear in the Placement report, under the Off Amazon group.
2. Your daily budget is a monthly average. Amazon can spend 100% over it in one day. Cap it at 25%.
Listing deactivated while your compliance docs are still under review?
Submission window: 2 days. Review: up to 15 business days. The removal fires in between.
Open a case and ask Support to hold the ASIN while the review runs. It does not happen on its own.
Why did Amazon cut my FBA capacity limit before Q4?
Limits are set per period, and you cannot request a change for the period you are in.
Going over costs nothing: the storage overage fee died on July 1, 2024.
The shipment you cannot create is the cost.
My FBA shipment arrived without FNSKU labels. Now what?
Since Jan 1, 2026 Amazon does not label FBA units in the US store. Unlabeled arrivals get unplanned services fees per unit, sit while the exception clears, and are not reimbursable if damaged or untraceable.
Why is my FBA inbound placement fee higher than the estimate?
The estimate is priced when you build the plan. The charge lands 45 days after receipt, on the inbound location and the quantities Amazon actually received.
Reports > Fulfillment > FBA inbound placement service fees.
"My FBA shipment says delivered but not checked in."
Amazon quotes at least 6 days from delivered to received, and cannot expedite it.
Reconciliation opens only at Closed: all units confirmed, or 90 days open.

why did i lose the buy box for a competitive external price
Amazon compares your total price (price plus shipping) with the lowest price it finds at other retailers. Above it, your offer stops being the Featured Offer.
Pricing Health, Pricing Opportunities. The number is there.
Amazon lost my FBA units and never reimbursed me.
Most warehouse losses are credited automatically since Nov 1, 2024. The rest give you 60 days, counted from the day the warehouse reported the loss. Not the day you found it.
Reports, Fulfillment, Inventory Ledger.
"Why can't I pay Amazon Ads with my card anymore?"
Aug 1, 2026: a contacted group moved to balance deduction or Pay by Invoice.
The card stays on file, but only as backup for insufficient funds.
Pay by Invoice: billed month end, due 30 days later. You pick it in Billing.
