Nixon joined the Democratic Socialists of America, campaigns with the Squad, and defends hanging portraits of Assata Shakur—a Black Liberation Army member convicted of murdering a New Jersey state trooper—in her Jacksonville café.

Peluso sold himself as the practical Navy veteran who just wants potholes fixed. Then he put his name behind the socialist. Carlucci, the “moderate” who already crossed the aisle for Donna Deegan, is clearing the path.

Voters get the chain: Republican moderate → Democrat who backs the DSA.

The “results-first” label is just marketing.

These guys are out here sweating in the Florida heat doing honest, backbreaking work, and she decides to stand on the sidewalk putting on a full-blown meltdown because a commercial landscaping crew dared to exist within fifty yards of her property line. The crew stays completely calm, hits her with the southern kill-them-with-kindness routine, and tells her to have a blessed day. Meanwhile, she is stomping around like an agitated garden gnome, screeching insults at people who are literally packing up to leave.

The homeowner even comes out to tell her to back off, and she just keeps doubling down, completely blind to how ridiculous she looks screaming at working folks trying to earn a living.
