🇧🇾 Belarus President Lukashenko brutally EXPOSES Trump and Netanyahu 🔥
He said: Does the 🇺🇸 U.S. have nukes? Yep. 🇮🇱 Israel also has nukes but stays quiet about it.
So 🇮🇷 Iran could say, “Why can’t we have nukes?” Even Pakistan does. Why can’t Iran?
If we really want fairness, we should get rid of all nukes, bit by bit. 🔥🔥
But if nukes are what keep you safe from attack, then Iran has the same right as anybody else to have them for defense.
Brutal truth by him👏. What a brave leader 🔥

#Eritrea: Statement by Ambassador Sophia Tesfamariam at the Enhanced Interactive Dialogue; Geneva 15 June 2026
*"...Eritrea rejects the report before the Council as fundamentally flawed in its methodology, unsupported by independently verified information, and disconnected from realities on the ground. Its findings and conclusions therefore lack credibility and cannot serve as a reliable basis for informed deliberation or action by this Council".
*"...The Special Rapporteur argues that his mandate is indispensable as the only international mechanism responsible for monitoring Eritrea. This assertion disregards the existence of multiple United Nations mechanisms, including the Universal Periodic Review, treaty bodies, specialized agencies, and other intergovernmental processes through which all Member States, including Eritrea, are regularly assessed".
*"...Eritrea has maintained its sovereignty, preserved social stability, sustained public administration, and continued the delivery of essential services despite decades of conflict, sanctions, and external pressures. While acknowledging the need for continued progress, this reality is fundamentally inconsistent with the picture repeatedly presented through this mandate".
*:...When a country-specific mechanism persists despite sustained questions regarding its selectivity, methodology, and balance, it risks shifting from a tool of engagement into one of entrenchment. Rather than promoting constructive dialogue, it perpetuates a divisive process that has failed to command broad confidence among Member States.... Eritrea therefore rejects both the report and the resolution before the Council and reiterates its call for the termination of this mandate".

#Eritrea: Ministry of Foreign Affairs commemorated, in conjunction with the Africa Group (i.e. African Ambassadors accredited to Eritrea), Africa Day at Asmara Palace yesterday under the theme: "Africa: one heart, one land , one destiny".
Keynote Addresses by FM Osman Saleh and South Africa's Ambassador Mr. Perseverance Mbuzeli Kumsha.
Yesterday's event was preceded by various joint activities earlier in the week including panel discussion on "African Unity in the Changing Global Order", and, a football match between FM staff and a selected team from the African Embassies in Eritrea.
FM Osman underlined, among other matters:
*"...This year’s theme of the African Union is: 'Assuring sustainable water availability and safe sanitation systems to achieve the goals of Agenda 2063'. This theme is not only timely—it is foundational".
*"...It is essential to recognize that Africa is a rich continent endowed with precious natural resources; resources that can drive inclusive growth and sustainable development, provided that we manage them with integrity, discipline, and shared long-term vision".
*"...Africans are united in spirit. And now, more than ever, we must also be united in action - united in changing global realities and shaping a fairer world. Africa should earn its rightful place in the global arena, not through division, but through solidarity. We will no longer accept being left behind in international decisions. It is through unity that Africa can prosper politically and economically in this changing world order.... In conclusion, I wish to reaffirm our commitment to the ideals of African unity, and to the shared mission of ensuring that every African - woman, man, child - can enjoy clean water, safe sanitation, and the dignity that comes with it".
Ambassador Kumsha, for his part, underlined:
"Africa Day is more than commemoration; it is a reaffirmation of our collective journey, that we are bound by a common destiny. This is a golden opportunity for us to conduct a continental introspection...we need smart partnership".

This is wonderful to witness. We all have a responsibility to contribute to the enhancement and advancement of our history, language, heritage, and culture. AI is an inevitable part of our world, and we should not only embrace it but also actively participate in the data feeds, model building and machine learning. I admire the passion displayed by this remarkable Eritrean.

@JekapOmod So the children of Gambella are scattered everywhere and can't even return home, yet you are fantasising about invading your neighbours.
The level of delusion is frightening.
Good Read - #Eritrea: Scaling Water Security; by Bana Negusse
*"...Eritrea established a comprehensive legal and policy framework to guide water management from the outset. Beginning in 1997 and revised in 2007, the Water Policy, Water Law, Water Sector Institutional Framework, and related Water Sector for Human Development documents, are grounded on the principles of Integrated Water Resources Management".
*"...The results over the past three decades have been striking. At independence in 1991, only 13 percent of the population had access to clean and safe water. Today, nationwide coverage exceeds 85 percent. Urban access has increased from 30 percent to over 92 percent, while rural coverage has expanded from just 7 percent to nearly 80 percent – a powerful reflection of the country’s commitment to leaving no one behind".
*"...At the heart of this progress lies a sustained expansion of water infrastructure. At independence, Eritrea had only 138 dams and ponds. Today, the number exceeds 800, significantly enhancing water storage capacity and distribution".
*"...Looking ahead, Eritrea remains firmly committed to strengthening efficiency and climate resilience in its water sector. Agriculture, the largest consumer of freshwater, is undergoing a gradual transition from traditional furrow irrigation to modern pressurized systems that reduce waste and improve productivity. Aging pipelines are being replaced to minimize losses and extend services to underserved areas. Equally important is environmental stewardship: investments in reforestation, watershed management, and ecosystem protection help safeguard the natural systems on which water availability depends".

Bridging Global Biotechnology and Public Health in Eritrea: Dr. Menghis Bairu on Eritrea’s Path to Medical Self-Reliance
ERITREA ― Dr. Menghis Bairu is an Eritrean-American physician, philanthropist, Co-founder, President and CEO of a biotechnology company "Bio Usawa" with more than three decades of international executive experience in the life sciences industry.
Throughout his career, he has led major biotechnology initiatives and multi-billion-dollar business transactions while also maintaining a strong commitment to medical education and global health.
In this interview with @shabait journalist Sabrina Solomon, @DrMenghis presents a vision that extends beyond humanitarian medical missions toward building a sustainable, self-reliant healthcare system in #Eritrea.
Through his work with the #CureBlindness Project, the Ministry of Health, and Orotta School of Medicine and Dentistry, he emphasizes training local specialists rather than relying on foreign expertise, ensuring that knowledge and technology remain within the country.
A central theme of his work is the establishment of the Berhan Ayni Ophthalmic Hospital as a regional Center of Excellence.
His long-term goal is to equip the hospital with world-class technology, develop highly trained Eritrean ophthalmologists through local residency programs, and create an internationally competitive eye care system capable of serving both Eritreans and patients from neighboring countries.
Dr. Menghis also highlights the importance of leveraging the expertise and global networks of the Eritrean diaspora. Through organizations such as the Eritrean-American Healthcare Association, he advocates structured collaboration between diaspora professionals and Eritrean institutions to strengthen medical education, transfer technology, and improve healthcare infrastructure.
Beyond restoring sight through cataract surgeries and corneal transplants, Dr. Menghis views #blindness reduction as a broader development strategy that directly addresses poverty and improves quality of life.
Looking ahead, he envisions Eritrea becoming a destination for reverse medical eye-care tourism, with the Berhan Ayni Ophthalmic Hospital serving as a premier regional hub staffed by homegrown specialists and supported by international partnerships.

“. . . Eritrea has no agenda, no plan of getting involved in this matter. If you don’t want these Pretoria and Nairobi Agreements not to be implemented don’t look for excuses, don’t look for pretext. That’s not available now. FULL STOP!” President Isaias, Feb 9 2023, #Nairobi.
President Isaias Afwerki and his delegation returned home in late morning hours today after a fruitful official visit to Egypt. Eritrea and Egypt have agreed to enhance their economic cooperation on several sectors as well as coordinate, through periodic consultations, their respective positions on vital regional and international issues of mutual interest.
This man is a Minister in #Ethiopia's Prosperity Party (PP) government. In an interview on Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation (EBC) few days ago, he discussed Ethiopia's unlawful claim to ownership of Red Sea coastal territory. In doing so, he bastardizes the history of the Horn of #Africa to accommodate Abiy Ahmed's Red-Sea fantasies and to destruct the poor #Ethiopian public.
We constantly receive messages from PP supporters on social media telling us not to speak about Ethiopia and related matters. I would be more than happy not to mention Ethiopia if its covetous Ministers and Generals would stop mentioning #Eritrea. The relentless propaganda and toxic indoctrination aimed at persuading ordinary #Ethiopians that they are victims because of the Red Sea issue is becoming increasingly dangerous. If left unchecked, it could easily lead to conflict, destruction, and further destabilization of the region.
In this clip, he appears to have little understanding of how modern nation-states are formed, particularly how sovereignty and borders were established in #Africa. He refers to the 4th-century Kingdom of Aksum and its use of the port of Adulis as justification for contemporary territorial claims.
Someone needs to explain to this greedy Minister that if the borders of African states were to be determined according to the ancient kingdoms, then present-day Ethiopia would not be recognizable . Large parts of what is now Ethiopia—including #Oromo, #Somali, 'Southern people', #Afar, and #Benishangul-#Gumuz regions—would not be part of modern day Ethiopia. Even the #Amhara heartland was not fully part of the Aksumite Kingdom during much of its existence.
So when he uses Aksumite Kingdom of the 4th century to justify his Red-Sea fantasies, which Ethiopia exactly is he referring to? The modern Ethiopian state did not exist in its current territorial form, and using ancient kingdoms as a basis for contemporary sovereignty claims raises even more difficult questions his small brain can answers.
