Hannah Einbinder says she’s not worried about being blacklisted by Hollywood for supporting Palestine, praising Melissa Barrera, Susan Sarandon and other actors speaking out:
"I think what they know is what I know, which is that the cost of not speaking is higher, you know? There is a greater toll in not speaking and you just gotta have your priorities straight. I am under no impression that my one small career could ever measure up in comparison to even one human life.”
Melissa Barrera claims Paramount "lied about the numbers" for "Scream 7" and says "I don’t think it made that much money."
She believes the actors who appeared in "Scream 7" after she was fired crossed a picket line: "They have to live with that. The only way they were able to make that movie after what happened was to nostalgia-bait as much as possible."

SCREAM 7 is an abysmal shitshow. When Spyglass stupidly fired Melissa Barrera for denouncing genocide, the series' momentum and integrity left with her.
All you got here is a lifeless nostalgia slop fest. Kevin Williamson writes and directs like a college freshman who just discovered r/scream. Sloppily crafted, soulless and cynical script, and the cast is embarrassingly wooden. Mask off, this is both the worst installment and the worst movie of the year. Fuck this movie, man.
“i hope you die” is boring and basic. “i hope your favorite horror franchise becomes pro-israel, pro-AI, and does sponsored ads for gambling apps” is terrifying. its real. it could happen to you
