@ronmortgageguy Do you see them holding the policy rate here in the next few months? I agree there will be no more cuts, but do you see them raising the policy? Or standing pat?
This afternoon, I informed the Prime Minister of my decision to resign as Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture, Minister responsible for Official Languages, Minister of Nature and Parks Canada, as well as his Lieutenant in Quebec.
You can find my full statement below.
When You're Wrong Your Wrong: I Said No Carney Government Would Ever Approve A New Pipeline In Canada
Well...... It's approved, lots more to do but it's a start
If you're a rational human admit when you're wrong
Really think Peakin’ is going to be a MONSTER. Donnie and Biz chemistry is ridiculous. A concept no one is really doing. Netflix should be begging for this show
Renewable? How are the materials renewable Mr.Fanjoy? In the sense that they’re mined, by hand and shovel, by slaves on another continent renewable?
Inflation-proof? How about weather proof? Ever lived in the actual north? Or west coast? Didn’t think so.
Fact check: No, U.S. oil tankers do not pass through the Hecate Strait. @ElizabethMay shows exactly why the tanker ban exists, and why protecting it matters.
@KAIROSMMA2 Wrong. He’s a smart individual, not letting go of a good career, in hopes of staying on, in the UFC. Don’t get it twisted. Rookie fighters don’t make a ton of money, if anything, the fact that he starched a guy that was undefeated, while maintaining a full time job will help him
CRA Is The Fuckest Uptist Organization On Earth
The Government's own Auditor discovered CRA gave WRONG answers to Taxpayer questions 83% of the time
Here's a real life story of pure CRA idiocy
@ronmortgageguy Those scammy pricks are holding $6000 of my return from 2024 still. Paid into a spousal RRSP, and they called it, “irregular” and it takes between 8-50 weeks to resolve. We have more CRA staff than homeless people at this point, how can things possibly take that long?
This is an incredible starting point, of the discussions that ACTUALLY need to happen. I’m incredibly optimistic to see this. Good on you Aaron for taking on the burden of seeking the truth, whatever that may be in the end. Good luck to you sir.
As Chief, I met with the Premier of B.C.
I thought about whether to post this on X, as I knew the reaction it would get on this platform.
But, I think it’s important.
I expressed to him, and his Ministers that Nations need to work with the Province to address these very valid fears and concerns. If we don’t we let fear lead the conversation and fear rarely leads to good decisions.
One point that has become abundantly clear is that reconciliation has been occurring without British Columbians at the table.
That is not true reconciliation. Citizens should be able to share their feedback, concerns, recommendations and opinions with the government on these types of agreements.
Had we done this back in 2015, after the Tŝilhqot'in case and the TRC, we may be in a different place.
I have people on the political left angry with me for speaking with some. I have people on the right accusing me of grifting.
Humbly, I’m trying to help chart a B.C. that doesn’t have an “us vs them” mentality. That allows every British Columbian to start from the bottom and have opportunities to rise to the highest levels of our society.
I don’t always thread that needle perfectly, and perhaps I never have.
I believe we have to come to the table, all of us with views, and start figuring out what the path forward is.
Polarization is growing, and I hope we can chart a path forward together.
I appreciate @Dave_Eby meeting with me and I look forward to further discussions on making B.C. a strong and prosperous province for all.
