People are saying 'How terrible it is to celebrate like this when children are being buried alive in Gaza'. I'm thinking 'How terrible it is to celebrate like this, period'.

What does all this even mean? What is this about? What are they celebrating? How is it relevant to anyone, or to humanity as a whole?

Well it isn't. It is just a money-feast. All this is meant to say: look, money!, look, more money! and look, even more more money!

This is all this is. It has no meaning, it has no beauty, and it really is a perfect encapsulation of Western and American culture: no soul, no elegance, no sophistication, no humor, no grace, no anything that even remotely resembles the human experience for 99.9% of people. It is a culture for people perceived as livestock at best.

Such extravagant wealth is not needed by any human being and therefore doesn't sit well with anybody. There is absolutely no authenticity in it, or, to be precise, the only thing that is really expressed here is an admission of disconnectedness, an intoxication with money and money-related social status; a resignation to an existence where nothing matters and nothing counts by money, nad nothing is ever celebrated but money.

This is a big part of the reason why I can't watch anything coming out of America for years: everything is always money and more money. American TV, American cinema, American music - it is always and forever about how much money we spent on making it, how much money 'artists' are paid, and how much money we made by it. It is all, therefore, about money.

Money is the only protagonist and the only plot.

But is money all life is about? No. Not even remotely. There is such an abundance of meaning, grace and beauty that has money meaning. Anywhere in this world, almost, if you just go out on the street, or sit in a cafe and look and listen, you'll find so much to look at and think about. You'll always, always find unexpected beauty by just looking with open eyes and an open heart.

This is part of the reason social media has overtaken Hollywood so momentously: people want to see and hear other people, not pseudo-artistic expressions created by money-entities for and about money (while faking human emotion and behavior). There is no replacement for spontaneity and grace of simple people, and how beautiful, clever and funny there are.

They are trying to destroy that part of social media by flooding it with establishment and money-related content, but I don't think they're going to be able to do it. As long as people will have some choice and some agency, they will choose people.

This universal truth has not been corrupted and destroyed by decades and centuries of brainwashing people into admiring money and being only about money, and we can now clearly see that the American empire is about to crumble before humanity. Its mission is failing and its failure will be more and more pronounced.

Look at how more ridiculous and disconnected the Met Gala looks every year, and how its attendees look more and more like the French court before the revolution, and you'll know it too.

And this is not only about Gaza, which is dear to our hearts, and we ache for it immensely. This is about Congo as well, and extreme poverty and exploitation everywhere.

This has a lot to do with colonialism, and I'm writing more about it in the book I'm working on. So follow and stay in touch. Things are going to become more and more interesting
