Something I think is notable about Val and Angel’s relationship that not a lot of people pick up on is that Angel ISN’T ALWAYS terrified of Val.

Sometimes he’s comfortable for small pushback, or even light joking.

It’s only after he recognizes Val is angry does he get scared.
