@RebelHQ@campbellclaret Not the biggest democratic vote in UK history - another of many Brexit lies - more people voted in the 1992 general election #BrexitHasFailed
@RebelHQ@campbellclaret Biggest afront to democracy. Both Leave EU and Vote Leave were found guilty of breaching Electoral Commission rules and fined but yet the result was still honoured. Theresa May was urged to cancel the result and re-run the referendum but she was too weak. #BrexitDisaster
@OWS1892 The man who told voters to ignore experts who were warning of the consequences of leaving the EU. He had previously cancelled the new schools building programme because it was "poor value for money" just prior to the collapse of loads of schools. He must be on drugs - oh he is!
@trainhoover@peter_snape @g_gosden Exactly this. If they are freed from a British prison, they will have been deemed to have finished their sentence. It would require a very complex arrangement (and cost to the UK) for the other country to transfer them into its prison service.
@g_gosden The Tories are a spent lost force. Between 1979 and 2024, they were in power for 32 years (71% of that time) and they did absolutely nothing that was positive.
@reformexposed Do library employees report to Reform councillors? Having said that, they are lucky to have any libraries left. All the libraries in Somerset were closed by the Tories' cuts and are now coffee shops.
@implausibleblog The majority don't even know what the ECHR is or does. It doesn't affect most people. It's the far right's new Brexit. It appears there is no limit to the pain they wish to inflict on the easily persuaded.
@LoxyFlo Season 7 of the annual Tory Leadership contest doesn't really excite me - I am just baffled that there were over 100 constituencies in the UK where the Tory candidate received more votes than someone else. Have those people been asleep for the past 14 years of #torychaos ?
@PaulTempleman6 Reeves wasn't there because she was touring news channels and GBN have declared they are not a news channel in order to avoid scrutiny. They cannot have it both ways. And is this the same Camilla Tominey who wrote this headline?
@MickeyOldroyd @implausibleblog He complains about tactical voting but if 1% of the over 8000 people who voted Lib Dem had voted Labour, he would have lost.
@ben_123321123 @Adrianjbks@LiamFox Liam Fox is from East Kilbride and stood for a seat in Scotland in the 1987 general election. He moved to North Somerset when he won the very safe Woodspring seat (now N.Somerset). Living in the constituency after you have won is not a great claim to be a local candidate.
@LiamFox Utter nonsense about Reform. They came 4th in North Somerset and polls have indicate that most of their voters wouldn't have voted Tory if there wasn't a Reform candidate. Also, Labour & Lib Dem got way more votes that Tory & Reform #ToriesAreOut
@UKLabour Congratulations, Sadik. A great number of people have been waiting many years to see the back of the disgraceful Liam Fox. Well done on your historic victory.
