I reaffirmed my unwavering commitment to working with our esteemed traditional institutions to reconstruct and enhance our beloved state. I also pledged to intensify efforts to restore Bauchi's former glory.
This assurance came as I had the honour of welcoming the Bauchi State Council of Traditional Rulers to the Government House in Bauchi. They visited to congratulate my recent triumph in the Supreme Court.
Leading the delegation was His Royal Highness, the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji (Dr) Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu. His commendation and the council's pledge to support my administration's policies and initiatives are pivotal for the progress and development of Bauchi State. #GreaterBauchi
Yesterday in my office, I received the Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Mr. Kashifu Abdullahi, who was represented by the Director of Research and Development, Engr. We are hopeful that with the presence of NITDA in Enugu State, our youths will be skillfully trained in tech and innovation. It is indeed a major boost in our efforts to capture the critical mass of our young people in the digital space. We therefore, enthusiastically look forward to the prospects of this development.
Many thanks to the management and Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency for choosing Enugu State as their headquarters in the South East Zone.
Tomorrow is here!

I paid a courtesy visit to H.E Cui Jianchun, the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria. During this visit, I shared insights from my interactions with stakeholders and investors at the recent China-Africa Summit. I expressed my gratitude for China's significant contributions to both Bauchi state and Nigeria as a whole.
Our discussions covered a range of critical sectors, including agriculture, education, mining, tourism, and human development. These extensive conversations focused on identifying ways to enhance these sectors further.
I assured the Ambassador of the safety and security of investments in Bauchi. I reiterated my administration's commitment to deepening our relationship and partnership with China and other development partners. This collaboration is essential for the economic development of Bauchi state, and I am dedicated to ensuring that we continue to build these beneficial relationships for the betterment of our people and our state. #GreaterBauchi
The Appeal Court’s judgement upholding the election of my dear brother and friend, Senator Bala Mohammed, as the duly elected Governor of Bauchi is a triumph for democracy and the people of Bauchi State.
I congratulate my dear brother, and our great party on this victory! #PowerToThePeople
The affirmation of my victory at the Appeal Court for the Bauchi State governorship election on March 18 is a testament to my unwavering dedication to delivering the dividends of democracy to our citizens. I therefore call upon the opposition parties within our state to unite and support the #NewBauchiProject, an initiative committed to the rejuvenation of Bauchi State.
I express my deep gratitude to the leadership of the Bauchi State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), our steadfast supporters, and the members of the general public for their enduring support and prayers. This victory is as much yours as it is mine, and I pledge to honour this shared triumph by providing the exemplary leadership you rightfully expect and deserve. Together, let us forge a new chapter for Bauchi State, marked by progress, unity, and prosperity.
Congratulations, H.E. @SenBalaMohammed, on your affirmed victory in the March 18 governorship election. This victory is a testament to the democratic process in this case and your unwavering dedication to the people of Bauchi State.
Your leadership and commitment, as evidenced by this triumph, continue to inspire many. I am confident that Bauchi State will achieve greater heights and notable advancements under your governance. I wish you continued success in your endeavours to serve our people. -AA
Today, during a meeting with the National Executive Committee of the Inter-Party Advisory Council Nigeria (IPAC), I emphasised the importance of protecting our democracy. I expressed concern over the APC's actions, leading Nigeria towards a one-party dictatorship. I urged IPAC, led by Yabagi Sani, to rally opposition parties to form a stronger front against this threat.
I criticised @inecnigeria for conducting poor elections, including discrepancies in voter numbers. I called for the National Assembly to prioritise constitutional and electoral reforms, in particular electronic voting reforms, to ensure transparent elections and protect our democracy. I believe democracy, despite its flaws, is the best form of government, and I am committed to working with others in providing its preservation in Nigeria. -AA

#ImoDecides2023:
Alleged withdrawal of the @OfficialPDPNig Governorship Candidate in Imo state, Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu (SamDaddy) is “FAKE NEWS”, handiwork of the failed @OfficialAPCNg.
#SamDaddy is solidly in the race.

Press Statement
Imo Guber: Anyanwu Not Deterred, Set for Victory Despite @OfficialAPCNg’s Fake Video - @OfficialPDPNig
…Demands @inecnigeria to Disqualify APC, Uzodimma
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) asserts that its candidate in the Saturday, November 11, 2023 governorship election in Imo State, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, is not deterred but set for victory despite the malicious fake video reportedly produced and circulated by Governor Hope Uzodimma and the All Progressives Congress (APC) against him.
The PDP describes as barbaric and shameful that the APC candidate, Governor Hope Uzodimma could descend so low to allegedly sponsor a fake video against the PDP candidate in a bid to mislead the people of Imo State.
The fake video, typical of “419” inclination only goes to confirm that Governor Uzodimma is in mortal fear of the popularity of the PDP candidate, Senator Anyanwu and had to resort to last minute underhand method in a failed attempt to get Senator Anyanwu out of the way.
What is even more alarming is that the makers of this fake video are so criminally minded as to attempt to make Nigerians believe that it was a news production of the TVC.
Our Party commends the courage of the management of TVC in immediately disclaiming and condemning the fraudulent use of TVC name, logo and inscription in an attempt to deceive the people of Imo State and ascribe legitimacy to the fake video.
The PDP restates that our candidate, Senator Anyanwu is very much in the governorship race. The people of Imo should disregard the said video as it is completely FALSE.
If there is anybody that should withdraw from the race, it is Governor Uzodimma, who has amply demonstrated that he is not ready to contest in a peaceful free, fair and transparent election.
The PDP calls on INEC to disqualify the APC and Governor Uzodimma as their reported involvement in producing and circulating the fake video constitute a gross violation of the provisions of the Electoral Act, 2022, the Nigerian Criminal Code and Cyber Crime Law.

Hon. Debo Ologunagba

Press Statement
Bayelsa, Kogi, Imo Guber: Perish Your Thoughts of Rigging - @OfficialPDPNig Tells @OfficialAPCNg
…Riggers Will Face Legitimate Wrath of the People
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) cautions the All Progressives Congress (APC) to perish any iota of thought to rig the Saturday, November 11, 2023 governorship election in Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi States as the PDP has mobilized the people of the three States to go to every length allowed by the law to protect their votes.
Our Party restates that it will never allow anybody, no matter how highly placed to manipulate the electoral process in the governorship election in Imo, Kogi and Bayelsa States. In fact, our Party states in clear terms that anybody who attempts to rig or manipulate the election in any way may have to deal with the legitimate wrath of the people.
The PDP specifically cautions Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, Yahaya Bello of Kogi State and his puppet candidate, Usman Ododo, to accept their rejection by the people for their abysmal failure in government and get ready to concede defeat on Saturday.
The PDP reaffirms that all indices from several Entrance Polls indicate that the PDP candidates are leading and will sweep the governorship election in the three States. Any electoral trajectory that does not reflect the clear tide of the Will of the people at the Polling Units will be firmly resisted.
In Imo State, the PDP confirms that it has received messages and visits from many prominent Imo State citizens, including major industrialists and businessmen wherein they expressed their support for the PDP Candidate, Senator Samuel Anyanwu.
These prominent Imo citizens have also denied their reported support and donation of funds to the APC and its governorship candidate, Governor Hope Uzodimma.
Of course, no well-meaning citizen of Imo State will lend support to Governor Hope Uzodimma whose administration has wrecked the economy of the State, brought untold hardship to the people and turned Imo State into a theater of violence, killings and kidnapping.
Our Party challenges Governor Uzodimma to make public the names of the Imo State citizens he claimed to have donated money to his campaign so that the people can identify the enablers of insecurity and hardship that his administration represents in the last three years.
Meanwhile, the PDP cautions that the delay by the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, to redeploy the Imo State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Prof. Sylvia Agu, is heightening tension and capable of pushing the people to resort to self-help.
We are in a democracy and INEC must respect the wishes and aspiration of the people and stakeholders in the electoral process. The people of Imo State have spoken clearly in demanding that Prof. Agu must not participate in any capacity whatsoever in the November 11, 2023 governorship election in Imo State, given her antecedents in favouring the APC in previous elections.
The PDP is marching to victory with the people of Bayelsa, Kogi and Imo States notwithstanding the antics of the APC.

I charged them to deliver a standard job befitting the people of Zamfara.
I do not doubt that the Gusau Urban Renewal project will not only give our state capital the necessary facelift but will also sharply improve the productivity of our people.
Earlier this afternoon in Gusau, I took a tour of the sites of the first phase of major road projects that my administration embarked upon in my few months in office.
I am satisfied with the speed and quality of work undertaken by the contractors so far.
The governorship elections in Kogi, Imo, and Bayelsa states are scheduled to take place this Saturday, the 11th day of November.
These elections, which are classified as off-cycle, are the first set of polls to take place after the 2023 general elections in our country.
Although there is a groundswell of dissatisfaction and resentment about how the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) walked back on the promise of transparency in the last general elections, but that shortcoming is not enough reason for us to give up on democracy.
Despite our disappointments, I urge us all to derive wisdom in the immortal saying of former US President James Monroe that, "the best form of government is that which is most likely to prevent the greatest sum of evil."
Our objective of defeating anti-democratic elements in our polity cannot be successful if we refuse to go out enmasse to cast our ballot on Election Day.
And, that is why, I am appealing to the good people of Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi states to come out in large numbers this Saturday to vote for the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party in those respective elections.
In Bayelsa State, Governor Duoye Diri has given a good account of himself as a leader who is directly responsible to the people. His giant strides in the areas of infrastructure and social development speak volumes about how his government has been able to touch the lives of the people positively.
In Kogi, Senator Dino Melaye has shown great capacity to stand on the side of the people and, by so doing, using every opportunity available to him to drive speedy development to his constituents. Electing him governor will afford him a bigger platform to do even more.
In Imo State, too, Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu has a rich profile of a political leader who is not only in touch with the grassroots but is committed to protecting the interests of his constituents. Senator Anyanwu is a political leader who I believe has what it takes to take Imo State to a higher pedestal in good governance.
While our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party, has put forth visionary leaders whose main objective is to serve the people, it is a different story altogether with our main rival, the APC.
In Kogi, Bayelsa, and Imo, candidates flying the flags of the APC are known to be stooges of some godfathers within or outside of those states.
The elections this Saturday are absolutely about the people. It is absolutely not about any political godfather.
That is why it is important for the people of Imo, Bayelsa, and Kogi state to come out in large numbers to vote for the PDP and to reject the APC that has brought us untold hardship and misery.
These elections are more about the fortunes of the common people, and it is my firm belief that when the people vote and stand to protect their votes, democracy wins.
When democracy wins, the people invariably win.
Thank you all for listening, and I wish you a pleasant polling experience on Saturday. -AA
