I thought we had a good thing going.

You were paying us cost plus a dispensing fee for all medications dispensed, making most generic meds profitable again.

Brand names weren’t too terrible either.

That all ended today when I billed a generic Vyvanse and you rejected it with an NDC not covered, DAW 9, must dispense brand only.

Where did it all go wrong @GainwellTech ?

👏 👏 👏 The PBM Price Transparency and Accountability Act — introduced today by @SenFinance Chairman @MikeCrapo (R-Idaho) and @SenateFinance Ranking Member @RonWyden (D-Ore.), along with many fellow senators from both sides of the aisle — contains the same key PBM reform provisions that nearly passed last December but were stripped out at the last minute when spending negotiations broke down. "The president and Congress have expressed a strong interest in bringing down drug costs and these reforms are the most comprehensive and substantive way to make progress toward achieving that goal," says NCPA CEO @RPhDouglas.
