Senator Alex Antic ahead of the curve as always!
One of the first to ask ‘what is a woman’, warned about digital ID early on and now is raising the red flag over these massive AI data centres.
‘My greatest fear is that we are effectively waving through the nerve centres of a future surveillance state.’
Echoing the concerns of experts like Richard Werner who warned that the real reason for these centres is to implement CBDCs.
One of the few politicians with integrity and conviction.
The Labor Government’s new National AI Plan aims to make us a global data centre hotspot, with $10B already invested in 2024.
But these AI facilities could devour up to 13% of our electricity by 2040, guzzle massive water in drought prone Australia, and risk displacing more jobs than they create.
Worse still paired with Digital ID and future CBDCs, are we quietly building the infrastructure for a surveillance state?
Who really benefits from them?

The Adelaide City Council is actually flying the Australian flag along King William Street!
Last year my FOI request revealed that the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags were flown for 147 days over 3 years down our main boulevard but the Australian flag wasn’t flown once!
Today it’s flying proudly alongside them during National Reconciliation Week.
Hey @CityofAdelaide , what changed your mind?

Last year Senator Matt Canavan @mattjcan and I introduced a private senator's Bill which aimed to remove references to "gender identity" from the Sex Discrimination Act 1984 and define a "man" and "woman" strictly by their biological sex.
The Bill was blocked by the Labor Government and the Greens who voted against the procedural motion to let the bill pass its first reading.

🚨 $654.3 million over 4 years for a ‘voluntary’ Digital ID scheme?
Labor just jacked it up from $288 million despite repeatedly promising it would be voluntary and you can choose every single time.
$654 million for something we’re free to ignore?
Sure thing.

The Government just dropped $74 million for a new Counter Terrorism Online Centre run by ASIO and the AFP.
Their mission? Monitor social media, Discord, gaming platforms, encrypted chats — even the dark web — using analysts and AI to hunt “violent extremism.”
Expect mission creep that chills free speech and once the infrastructure is built, it can be turned on anyone.
The surveillance state grows day by day.

It is looking more and more like the phrase “You will own nothing and be happy” wasn’t a conspiracy theory, it was a preview.
Australians are working harder than ever but can’t afford a home, while real wages fall, groceries soar, and rents crush families.
COVID lockdowns, endless wars, and globalist policies have hollowed out the middle class all while big corporations and elites grow richer.
This cost-of-living and housing crisis isn’t bad luck. It’s the predictable result of leaders around the world who serve international agendas.

The surveillance state is growing around us and it’s closer to home than you think.
In June 2024 I spoke with Andrea Amico an expert in vehicle surveillance on Based with Senator Alex Antic

Every new car in the U.S. will be required by law to have tech that puts constant surveillance on the driver by 2027.
AI in your car will determine if you're sober and fit to drive, automatically turning off the vehicle if it determines you're a danger on the road.
Based With Senator Alex Antic - Episode 41 – Dr John Lott @JohnRLottJr - Firearm Control and Crime
Nobody wants to have their home broken into, and most people would be interested in ways that burglary can be prevented.
Dr John Lott explains how burglaries differ in rate and kind between countries with low firearm ownership and countries where firearm ownership is common.

Australia’s social media ban for minors isn’t working: 61% of kids still access accounts, while 4.7M were shut down. Meanwhile, 27% moved to riskier platforms. The ban isn't helping kids— it is harming them. Parents, not the government, are better suited to manage kids’ online use, says Cato's @dr_inserra.

In 2018, an Australian businessman approached me wanting to build a diesel refinery at Gladstone. I was gung-ho and put him in touch with the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility, which could help.
But in the end, he could not even open a bank account with an Australian bank because it involved oil and was against their net-zero plans.
Yesterday, @KevinHoganMP , @SenMcDonald and I wrote to the banks asking them to clarify whether they would support investment in new refineries, given our clear national interest in improving fuel security.
This is a test for Australian banks. Do they support our national interest or do they support net zero?
In a few weeks, the Senate will vote on the ASIO Amendment Bill (No. 2)—and every Australian who values freedom under the law should be paying attention.
This Bill doesn’t just extend extraordinary powers—it makes them permanent. Powers that were meant to expire by March 2027 would instead become ongoing.
It expands compulsory questioning for adults and even minors, weakens safeguards, limits access to legal counsel, and lacks proper judicial oversight.
These are not ordinary powers. They allow the state to compel answers under threat of penalty. That is a serious intrusion into personal liberty.
Of course, national security matters—but it must never come at the unchecked expense of freedom.
For these reasons, I will NOT be supporting this Bill.

The Behavioural Economics Team (BETA) embedded in the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet stated their role is to ensure that they are “improving the lives of Australians with evidence-based policy development and program delivery.”
But what does that mean and how was it used during the COVID period?

A few good men sat alone in the Senate today but on the right side of science.
Opposing the expansive change in the definition of vaccine -
‘any immunising agent that confers protection to persons through active or passive immunity against disease.’
which would pave the way for the regular use of genetic mRNA products most likely in the children schedule.
Demanding at the very least an amendment to the rushed through legislation which would require the gold standard double blind placebo controlled trials.
It’s a damning indictment on the Big Pharma stranglehold that continues to dictate health policy in Australia.
My suspicion is that tonight’s address by the Prime Minister will be a “softening up” exercise.
Some of us have been warning of a future of monitored energy restrictions for years.
Starting to sound less and less like a conspiracy theory everyday.
Labor’s National Health Amendment (Passive Immunological Products) Bill passed the Senate this morning without debate.
I voted AGAINST the passage of the Bill (but supported @MRobertsQLD amendment).
This bill updates the definition of “vaccine” to includes other newer products.
A big win for Big Pharma 😔
