Caroline describes a tense council meeting where her call for an inquiry received no support, and she says she was prevented from speaking. She also raises concerns about political pressure, councilors staying silent, and the challenges of holding local government accountable.
When elected representatives feel unable to speak freely, how can communities trust the decisions being made on their behalf?

It's already as bad as 1989 and it's set to get worse before it gets better.
Interest rates are WAY higher than you think and in this video I prove it, so that you can finally put an end to the "We had it harder back in my day" argument once and for all.
The good news is there are a few things you CAN do about it, to make your situation better, and at the very least you can silence the old-timers who insist that "You don't know what it's like..."

With the 2027 NSW state election approaching, the Liberal Party faces a difficult balancing act between its leadership, grassroots members, and energy policy. The debate over emissions legislation and the partyโs position on net zero could shape its political future.
Will the partyโs leadership align with its rank-and-file members, or will internal divisions continue?

Liberals have copied yet ANOTHER @VictorianLabor policy while @OneNationVic stand alone.
@LiberalVictoria voters must ask themselves... is there really a difference to Labor anymore?
Victorian Labor leader @BenCarrollMP tried to wedge the Liberals, so the Liberals simply COPIED LABOR POLICY.
In this video I interview One Nation Deputy Leader Colleen Harkin to see what THEIR family policies are... and found that if you're looking for a difference compared to Labor... you won't find it with the Liberals, but you might find what you're looking for with ON.

Credit card fees may be frustrating, but they reflect the cost of convenience, fraud protection, and rewards. With premium cards, low-fee options, cash, and alternative payment methods available, consumers have choices.
The real question is: are we willing to pay for the convenience and security that credit cards provide?

Reflecting on Victoriaโs COVID lockdowns, the guest questions the silence of Liberal MPs when hardworking Australians protested restrictions and raised concerns about government overreach.
The bigger question: If opposition parties wonโt speak up for individual freedoms, who will?

The B.O.M. have been lying to us and getting away with it... until now.
Their 'raw' data isn't... and now we have the proof.
For decades the Bureau of Meteorology have gotten away with fiddling with the data, now they've been caught out and there's no hiding this one!
The BOM must no longer be regarded as a scientific organisation, they're a political one, providing manipulated data to suit political objectives and costing us BILLIONS in the process.
It's time for a total cleanout!

He's more accurate than the B.O.M. and he does it all with pencil and paper.
He predicted that late 2026 in the Eastern side of Australia would be wet, while the BOM said it would be dry. He's predicted the floods that filled the outback and brought Lake Eire to life, he's predicted a great many things and while he's not always right... he's never wrong by much.
What has David Burton and his predecessors discovered?
That's exactly why I interviewed him... to try and find out.
It's about planets, and orbits, and the gravitational effects on the Sun which in turn affects the sunspots and weather here on Earth... I'm not going to pretend that I actually understood everything in this interview, I didn't, but I've seen it work and I can't un-see it.
You can call the methods crazy, but follow him and watch his predictions for a while... that's what I did... and there comes a point where you have to ask yourself... "Crazy or not, what has he figured out, that the rest of us (including the BOM!) have not?"

After years of legal battles involving council-appointed monitors, Caroline says the investigation ended with no adverse findings or recommendations against her. She also raised concerns about alleged invoicing irregularities, though she acknowledged that no court had ruled the conduct fraudulent.
Who holds the investigators accountable when questions arise about their own conduct?

I think @Jesswilsonmp made a HUGE mistake when she copied @BenCarrollMP Labor Party policy for fully taxpayer funded pregnancy terminations.
There's a lot of loyal @LiberalAus supporters who will be angry about this for a range of reasons and some of them will now be looking for a party that offers a REAL difference in their Family Policy.
In this video I interview Colleen Harkin, deputy leader of @OneNationVic to see if @OneNationAus can offer a real alternative to disenfranchised L/NP voters.
Are the One Nation family policies perfect? In my opinion, no.
But are they VERY different and offering a real alternative? In my opinion... YES.
What do you think?

The debate around energy shouldnโt focus only on emissions, but also on the broader impact of affordable and reliable electricity. Supporters of Australian coal argue that it helps provide access to essential power, allowing communities to improve their living standards through better access to food storage, heating, cooling, education, and technology.
Should all energy industries be held to the same standards when it comes to emissions?

HUGE MILESTONE REACHED... Labor have lost their lead Federally.
But... can you see the problem here?
Why are the L/NP neck-and-neck, but ON still behind on a Two Party Preferred basis?
Simple... it's because if One Nation candidates are eliminated (as in, a seat comes down to a Labor candidate, or an L/NP candidate as the final two) ON voters do a GOOD JOB of preferencing the L/NP above Labor, and that's what gets the L/NP a lot of their seats.
But when it's the reverse? When a seat comes down to Labor vs a One Nation candidate? Too many of the L/NP voters are actually putting LABOR ABOVE ONE NATION in their preferences!
The difference isn't actually Labor, the difference is the L/NP voters themselves!
If the Labor Party were to win an election... it would be BECAUSE OF L/NP VOTERS.
This is true federally as we see here... but it's ALSO true in the coming Victorian State Election, AND will be even MORE true in the NSW State Election next (for reasons I'll cover closer to that time!)
PREFERENCE DISCIPLINE MATTERS. If you're planning to vote L/NP, or you know people who are, help them understand that what they do with their PREFERENCES might be the difference between whether LABOR get back in, or not.
I said in my Marbles Video for the Vic Election LOWER HOUSE that what matters is the ORDER YOU PUT THE BIG 4:
ONE NATION
L/NP
LABOR
GREENS
OR if you're an L/NP voter:
L/NP
ONE NATION
LABOR
GREENS
If there's a STRONG independent then you need to pay attention to them too, and you can put whatever other parties you like inside that mix, but that ORDER matters. The future of Victoria, and in time, Australia, may depend on it!
[Thanks to @AusPoll6 for posting the poll results in an easy to read form! Give them a follow!]
A remarkable milestone, but there's a BIG problem here...
Too many L/NP voters are preferencing LABOR above One Nation, and ironically Labor's best hope is the ignorance of the L/NPs voters!
More on this in a video soon.
Prime Minister @AlboMP should be ashamed of himself, leveraging the attack on @helenhainesindi like this!
The attack on Helen Haines MP is an outrage, political violence has no place in Australia.
Albo is right to say we need to 'lower the temperature', but he's also a hypocrite, because it's the government and the politicians themselves who raised the stakes... and the temperature... this high, by meddling in every aspect of our lives and playing 'God' with our private lives.
And forgive my cynicism... it looks like Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is already calculating how he's going to use this attack against Helen to his political advantage.
His interview with the ABC's 7:30 report certainly raised MY eyebrows more than once...
I've said it before, I say it again in this video, and I'll say it again here: The attack on Helen Haines is not 'justified' no matter what the motivation may be, and I don't want to live in an Australia where the use of violence for political aims is normalised or accepted as 'inevitable'.
It doesn't have to be this way.
But if we're going to 'lower the temperature' around politics, the first order of business must be lowering the stakes... and that means getting the government and politicians out of our lives as far as humanly possible.
I'm hoping and praying that Helen makes a full and speedy recovery.

Banning credit card surcharges might sound like a win for consumers, but the costs donโt simply disappear. They could be passed on through higher prices, meaning even cash-paying customers end up paying for a system they donโt use.
Are we really saving money, or just changing who pays the bill?

The Libertarian Partyโs Brighton pledge sets out two clear commitments: never vote to increase taxes and never vote to reduce individual liberty. The goal is to hold elected representatives accountable and give voters a clear standard to judge their actions.
Should every politician make a public pledge to uphold their principles and be held accountable by the people they represent?

Wait WHAT???
@AlboMP just waxed lyrical about the INTEGRITY of Helen Haines on the ABC last night... but just a month ago his office was shopping around a DIRT FILE on her?
Just when I think I can no longer be shocked by the cynicism of this man, he stoops to a new low.
I've read the article and it looks like the attempted 'dirt file' was a flop... just baseless questions trying to get hook a journalist into printing a baseless attack piece, and credit to journalists for not picking it up, but HOT DAMN for Albo to turn around now and speak in glowing terms?
Despicable.
After attempts to resolve the issue privately failed, Caroline began documenting concerns about development decisions and planning powers in Victoria. The situation escalated after media reports surfaced about an alleged warning involving her mayor and council CEO.
How much transparency and accountability should the public expect from government officials making decisions that affect local communities?
