On Jan 4, 1997 I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. Every year since, my “What a Bummer” campaign has been my way of fighting back. I’ve joined the Gutsy Walk 2026 for Crohn’s and Colitis Canada to push for better treatments and a cure for people like me living with Crohn's.
Hey @markscheifele55 I'm currently in Manitoba at Portage and Main with my #55 Scheifele Jets jersey cheering on our @OHLBarrieColts 5-0 game 7 win in the @OHLHockey Eastern Conference Championships! Bring on @OHLRangers!
Hey @ottawacity why would there be a garbage truck slowly driving down Queen St just past Bank at 7:30 am, blocking traffic constantly. Today is the 5th time this has happened to me. Could you arrange to have them do this at say 9:15 am?
Hey @OC_Transpo I watched a #15 drive past me, to catch a #12 a minute later, just to be told when we arrived at Rideau that it was the last stop, and we should catch the 15 that I already watched go past. The problem is that I need to go past Parliament. Now I have to walk!
Hey @OC_Transpo can you train your drivers to leave on-time when they are sitting around for the last 15 minutes at the station? I don't understand why my driver needed an additional 4 minutes to wait when he has been at the station for 15 already! Do better!
Hey @OC_Transpo do you know how to stagger bus times? When buses are running along Montreal Rd downtown, it makes more sense to run them every 5 minutes, rather than have 2 buses at 7:05 am followed by the next one 16 minutes later. Do better!
Hey @OC_Transpo better spacing of buses is useful, especially when there are 3 #12buses arriving at Rideau and Charlotte within 3 minutes of each other. Do better!
Hey @OC_Transpo my bus must be deceased because I was waiting at Parliament bus stop just now watching the arrival time for the past 12 minutes, just to be told that it has departed. The only way it could have departed was if it was deceased or invisible! Do better!
Hey @OC_Transpo why would you run a small #12bus along Montreal Rd to the pasture at 7 am each weekday? It gets filled in 5 minutes. I want you to be articulate and put only articulated and double-decker buses on Montreal Rd and Rideau.
@OC_Transpo I'm on the case of the fictional bus. I watched a bus app tell me at 7:07 am that it was 30 minutes out. Then it said 22 minutes, then 15, 7, 5, 3, 2. I expected to see it arrive imminently, and then the app told me 11 minutes more. Now I'm late for work. Thanks!
