Students made Valentine's Day cards for seniors. They will earn community service hours for Distinguished Warrior. The cards are taken to state Sen. Craig Wilcox's office in Woodstock where they will be distributed. More than 100 students participated from both campuses.
Governor Pritzker’s statement on State Farm rates shows just how little he knows about insurance. Im glad the State of Florida is setting the record straight.
This is false. Perhaps the State of Illinois should first focus on the basic fact that State Farm Florida is its own company and no subsidization from the company in question is taking place.
We agree that Florida is a more desirable location to live in and many Illinoisans are relocating here, which has been further demonstrated through several carriers, including State Farm, filing rate reductions here in Florida.
Florida is happy to give Illinois some pointers on how to build an affordable and sustainable insurance market.
For Illinoisans looking to relocate to Florida, 14 additional insurance companies have entered our market since 2023 and our state’s building code is one of the nation’s best. 🐊🍊
This project has enormous potential to reduce costs and improve efficiency, which benefits taxpayers. But we need leadership from the top. I’m disappointed by the lack of engagement from Governor Pritzker and his agency heads in prioritizing this work. https://t.co/3svBKvzAwj
Today, Madigan was sentenced to 7 1/2 years in prison and a $2.5 million fine, but the real question is: Will this finally be a turning point for Illinois? Corruption has plagued our state for too long. It’s time for real ethics reform—not just more talk after another conviction.
The Democrat sponsor of HB 1586 claimed her bill was an attempt to 'Trump-proof' hiring practices in Illinois, but as I read the bill, I believe it does quite the opposite, so I was proud to be the bill's Chief Co-Sponsor. https://t.co/yxQJ1Fotmr
A group of Bulldogs got a firsthand look at what it’s like to be a local leader at the Youth Advisory Council, sponsored by State Senator Craig Wilcox. They gained valuable insight into how decisions are made and how they can make a difference in their communities.
A group of our outstanding D200 students recently participated in Illinois State Senator Craig Wilcox's Youth Advisory Council! This unique program gave students the chance to engage in meaningful discussions about government, leadership, and civic responsibility. #WNHSProud
Senate committee work will kick into high gear next week, and I am proud to be serving as the Ranking Republican for the Labor and Veterans Affairs Committees. I am also pleased to have a voice in vetting bills in several other policy areas through my committee assignments.
Hey, Eagles! Make some Valentine’s Cards for local senior citizens today during lunch. Cards will be delivered to Victory Lakes and to State Senator Craig Wilcox’s office. 💙🦅💗

It's PBJ day for the Senate Republicans! We're all pitching in and making hundreds of sandwiches for the homeless population in and around Springfield.
The Marines' motto, Semper Fi, means "always faithful" or "always loyal". It's often used to represent the Marines' commitment to their communities and the nation. It also symbolizes the Marines' lifelong commitment to the Corps and America, and the Corps' promise to the Marines.
Don’t forget, Sunday marks the end of Daylight Saving Time! Make sure to set your clocks back an hour before you head to bed. Enjoy that extra hour of sleep!
Today we honor and recognize firefighters, police officers, call-takers, nurses, doctors, military personnel, and everyone else who works in the healthcare field. We support and appreciate your willingness to protect and take care of the people of Illinois.
What a great group of students! It was my pleasure to have them attend my Youth Advisory Council. We definitely have some bright future leaders in this picture!
