Fatal Shooting – 11XX S. Peach Street
On Thursday, March 5, 2026, at approximately 11:43 p.m., officers from the 12th District responded to a radio call for a “person with a gun” at 11XX S. Peach Street.

Upon arrival, officers located a 30-year-old male victim, later identified as Jaimeer Jones-Walker of Lansdowne, PA, inside the residence suffering from agunshot wound to the head.

Medic units responded and pronounced the victim deceased at 11:59 p.m.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a female witness reported that her boyfriend (the decedent) was assaulting her in the rear bedroom of the residence when her 11-year-old son retrieved her firearm and shot him.

The firearm was recovered at the scene.

The investigation remains ongoing with the Homicide Unit.
