Liberals have violated workers’ Charter right to strike, refused to take action on unpaid work in the airline sector & are scheming behind closed doors to weaken unions’ collective bargaining position. Meanwhile, unemployment is high and workers are struggling to make ends meet.
He has had an emergency decompressive hemicraniectomy, left-sided, where the likely dominant brain side is damaged forever. He will probably never be able to speak again, and never be able to feel and move the right side of his body.
At his age, the reason for that is most likely a mass intracranial hemorrhage and swelling due to severe head trauma. He must have also spent a long time in a coma, hence the tracheostomy.
This is, without much room for doubt, the face of a tortured man who has barely survived an emergency procedure, which in normal circumstances would be extremely uncommon for someone his age - and whose quality of life has been reduced to almost zero forever.
If you are a Ghanaian soccer fan trying to watch your team play in Canada, there is a 90% chance you will be rejected.
If you are a war criminal who commited genocide with the IOF, Canada @CitImmCanada@CanBorder@LenaMetlegeDiab@MarkJCarney will welcome you with open arms.
This woman deserves the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize.
Might be a way for the Nobel Committee to redeem itself after the Machado disaster.
Albabese has been persecuted relentlessly by ZioFascists for calling out genocide and war crimes.
Earlier today I participated in a panel discussion on Al-Arabiyya television about Lebanon, alongside a Lebanese journalist and a representative of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracy.
The discussion was recorded rather than live, and will be broadcast and released to the public in the coming days.
Normally, participants in such discussions refrain from commenting upon them prior to public release, at which point viewers can make up their own minds about the points and arguments put forward by the various participants.
That has been my approach in the past, and remains so.
Occasionally, participants feel compelled to get ahead of the game, and begin re-litigating such discussions from virtually the moment it ends.
Several years ago, for example, I participated in a debate where one of the participants spent more than a week streaming about the event and how awesome his own performance had been. The general consensus is that it was not his finest moment.
I at the time refrained from commenting on the event until its public release, and to this day have still not offered an assessment of my own performance. This is for the simple reason that my performance is something for viewers rather than myself to judge.
I noticed that the representative of the Foundation for the Defense of Israel has already issued a number of tweets about points he raised in the discussion, tagging me, and seeking to validate the arguments he put forward.
For those who might be interested, I will be refraining from comment on these issues and won't be responding. We already each had our say and will leave it at that.
Personally, I find it unseemly and a sign of insecurity to attempt to influence viewers about a discussion they cannot yet view for themselves.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
SCOOP: I obtained Edmonton police a chief Warren Driechel’s itinerary and other documents from his February 2026 trip to Israel.
@mbueckert from @CJPME says it’s “much worse than any of us expected.”
The Nakba exhibit will go ahead and those who want to hold history hostage, will do so in a long line of genocidaires whose last stage is always denial. From the river to denial.

Jared Kushner's corruption and profiteering from US policy he directly shapes has no parallel in its magnitude and brazenness.
He and the Trump family are showered with billions in new personal wealth from the exact Persian Gulf dictatorships most affected by their decisions:
It was billed Build Canada Strong - not Bailout Developer Donors.
It appears free market principles only work one way: private profits, public losses.
This condo bailout won’t create a single new unit of affordable housing.
It’s time to create real non-market housing
You have the support of millions, including me. I look forward to seeing the exhibition. It should tour so that more Canadians can learn about the Nakba — past and, especially, present. Don’t give in to the haters.
@mark_slapinski I love how you framed your statement as though you were about to courageously say something incredibly risky and provocative and possibly damaging to your career interests, only to then spout clichés that are the consensus view of every western government.
Real brave stuff.
Numerous @TorontoPolice surrounded a woman outside a @FIFAWorldCup stadium and told her her Palestine flag was not allowed – even though Canada recognizes Palestine and @FIFAcom confirmed the 🇵🇸 flag is allowed.
Is this how @TPSOperations will treat everyone with the Palestine flag? Players? Children? Tourists? Elders?
This must be immediately clarified and fixed @oliviachow@cityoftoronto.
This is an important moment to see how empty and manipulative the term "terrorist" is, despite how central it has become in our law, foreign policy, wars and political discourse. The word has never had any real fixed meaning.
But in the hands of Israel, it gets applied even to the targeting of soldiers with invading armies. Hezbollah kills armed IDF soldiers occupying Lebanese land -- not civilians, but soldiers -- and that's "terrorism."
Same with the West Bank: a 14-year-old Palestinian kid throws a rock at an armed IDF soldier illegally occupying their land and that gets called "terrorism."
The term "terrorism" has no meaning other than: those who fight against Israel.
Major Canadian experts in internet security and privacy - like @RonDeibert, @OpenMediaOrg and @cancivlib - are absolutely freaking out about Bill C-22.
They’re sounding massive alarms, warning that it could:
- force companies to keep metadata for up to a year, making a vast trove of personal information vulnerable to leaks and hacks
- make encryption meaningless by creating backdoors in software that allow police and gov. agencies to scoop up our personal data and messages
- give US police and spy agencies direct access to Canadians’ personal data without warning or oversight
So what is the Carney government doing? Ramming C-22 through in the dying hours of the session.
Meanwhile, Minister Solomon offers a retail sales pitch for potential powers of a new regulator that won’t even exist for at least 18 months.
Instead of just banning surveillance pricing and protecting us from other forms of digital spying and extraction.
Bill C-22 is a disaster and should be withdrawn.
A tortured answer to a simple question: What is the immediate cause for the most serious humanitarian crisis facing Cuba today?
Shame on the government for making officials mouth such invidious nonsense.
A very dangerous new nightmare we are living in Gaza City, and no one in the world is paying attention to it.
Days ago, the Israeli army installed huge military cranes, each about 30 meters tall, on the eastern areas it controls. These cranes are equipped with machine guns and cameras, and they fire randomly and almost continuously at tents, streets, and exposed neighborhoods.
Gaza City is extremely narrow, only 10 kilometers wide. A single crane at that height is enough to expose the entire city from east to west. Every street, every square, every tent, every house has become completely exposed. There is no place to hide, and not a single moment of safety.
In just the past two days, three people were killed by fire from these cranes. One of them was sitting quietly with his father in a small café, trying to breathe for a few minutes. Hours later, a 5year old girl was killed while playing near her home.
These cranes have turned the entire city into an open field. The latest military technologies are directed at civilians. We have become an open testing ground for their new weapons. The horror is not just in the sound… it is the constant feeling of being an exposed target at all times, where even children cannot run in the street without fear.
