2024: 10GB for 25 cedis( Students were happy and praised Parliamentarians for rejecting this)

2025: 10GB for 28 cedis (Students are angry at Parliamentarians for not accepting this)

I’m tempted to say that some people were so eager to see the Fmr President fail.

Parliament rejected the 10GB bill because the current amount students pay is GHC10 per month for 5GB, which accumulates to GHC177.40 for the year. The proposed increase to GHC25 for 10GB per month, accumulating GHC300 for the year, was going to lead to an increase in fees.
