@thosiawa@BearNotesApp@karrisaarinen@linear And I wish Apple’s Files app used tags like the Bear app. Just imagine - file stored once, with multiple tags. No duplicates, and much easier to find. Instead we get a limited range of coloured dots, and forced to store a single file in multiple folders.
@TechwokInfo@SparkMailApp@ProtonMail OK, so that’s the X post translated into English. When, or how, can I get an English translation of the article on the webpage?
@metoffice I’m thinking of writing a rain forecasting app for where I live. I’m going to call it Diddly Squat. Why Diddly Squat? Because in spite of optimistic Met Office forecasts, that’s all we seem to get when it comes to rain.
@GWmag The Hebe that I cut right back a couple of weeks ago, intending to dig up and replace, is sprouting new shoots all over the place. Guess it’s reprieved until at least next year.
@ring@amazon Joyce is one lucky Amazon customer. Where I live, @amazon drivers barely have time to place your package on the doorstep before they’re back in the van and on their way to their next stop.. It’s a method that is referred to as “dump and run” so I’m told.
@GWmag Don’t believe weather forecasters when they say it’s going to rain tomorrow. If your plants need watering today, do it. Right this minute, outside it should be chucking it down, based on yesterday’s forecast. Not a single raindrop thus far.
@metoffice We’ve just had rain where I live, and idiots are setting off fireworks because I can hear them as I type this. Do they really think 5 minutes of rain will stop wildfires from happening if a firework lands in the wrong place? Unbelievable!!
@MacObserver So let me get this right. Apple wants to adopt a circular watch face to display apps from a rectangular format iPhone? Good luck with that.
@GWmag Verbena bonariensis. Flowering its socks off. Festooned with butterflies when the sun shines on it. Best thing is that most of it is from self-seeding over the past 3 years.
