Considering there are many hints about Pelo, could it be that her father wanted to scare Zeynep because she told her mother how he treats his daughter? Or maybe this child is not Zeynep but Pelo, and he wanted to take her, but she didn’t want it, and Zeynep’s mother intervened?

Regarding the flashback, I have this feeling that little Zeynep is about to be taken (kidnapped). Her mother intervenes and gets killed. We also see a girl she is playing with.
