It's truly hilarious how our fans ( and tbf in general, fans of the big 6 prem clubs or top clubs elsewhere) refuse to apply basic math and known facts like club financial accounts, all so that they can trust crap sources like capalogy AND/OR remain in delusion about playr wages

Man city paid £408m in wages according to their accounts in 24/25. According to UEFA it’s even higher (due to CFG) and it’s closer to £450m

The UEFA calculation has City player wages at 73% roughly of their total wages. So say 73% of £408m is £300m (in 24/25 mind you… I expect it to be higher in 26/27). Basic calculations has the AVERAGE first team player on £220k a week if you remove the cost of the club component (15%) it’s still 190k a week that an average first team player at man city takes home (base + wages).

People need to realise how much our players get paid…it’s a lot.
