Since day 1, I’ve made it a top priority to hold Holtec accountable. We won’t allow corporate interests to put #CapeCod’s fishing, tourism, and aquaculture at risk. This is our home, and we’re in this fight to protect it for generations to come.
🚨 New research from @WHOI confirms what we’ve been saying all along: any wastewater discharged from the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station poses a threat to our coastal communities.

On Indigenous People's Day, we honor the cultures, traditions, and contributions of Native communities in Massachusetts and across the country.
We must also recognize America's history of assimilation, displacement and violence against Indigenous communities, and work to make right centuries of broken promises.
Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to join @RepDylan in awarding $200k to @MBLScience to support educational programming for our local students!

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost, and honor the bravery of the first responders who ran towards danger to save others.
Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸
CPPI grants allow us to engage communities in developing collaborative relationships between public school districts and EEC-licensed #earlychildhoodeducation programs and meet the diverse needs of families in their own neighborhoods.
This initiative, created by @MassEarlyEdCare , serves to expand high-quality pre-kindergarten or preschool opportunities, on a voluntary basis, to three and four-year-old children who will be eligible for kindergarten by September 2024 and September 2025.
It’s the last day of formal session for the 193rd legislative body. Do you know what that means? It’s also #pictureday!
A quick break from deliberations to get a group photo, then back to work to get everything we can across the finish line.

This has been a collaborative effort between our federal and state delegations, local advocates, and @MassGovernor. We need to keep the pressure on Holtec, holding them accountable to prevent corporate greed from taking priority over the people of Cape Cod and the South Shore.
This decision validates what common sense has told us: Discharging radioactive water into #capecodbay is dangerous for our residents, our oceanic ecosystems, and our local economy.
We've never been closer to making this a reality, and I am confident that with the continued dedication of our federal/state partners, we will see the full replacement of both the Sagamore and Bourne bridges, securing a brighter future for all residents and visitors of #CapeCod.
Massachusetts has been chasing federal dollars to rebuild the Sagamore and Bourne bridges for a decade. When @MassLtGov and I took office, we knew it was time for a new approach.
We created @MassFFandInfra, empowered the experts at @MassDOT and teamed-up with federal, state, and local leaders to win game-changing funding to rebuild the Cape Cod Bridges.
With $1.72 billion from the Biden administration, we’ve got what we need to get shovels in the ground on the Sagamore Bridge — and we’re going after every federal dollar we need to rebuild the Bourne Bridge, too.
This is a huge deal, and teamwork with @SenWarren, @SenMarkey, @USRepKeating, and state and local officials made it happen.
