Decided to pour my random thoughts here on a random Saturday of July and call it my(not so)personal thought collection.
Here to dump in peace💩Kindly dnt flw😬
Dumping it off the mind and on the paper is the ultimate therapy that costs zero bucks & makes sure no real life persons are harmed in the process of offloading the trauma✍️🤌
As a woman who has big emotions and feels everything deeply, one of the best things I’ve ever done for my sanity is building internal safety. And if you’re just like me, I’ll wholeheartedly recommend doing the same because I promise you, it changes everything!
Here’s exactly how to get started:
I’m a retired brain surgeon and I wanna tell you why you feel like life is passing by. I just need one minute to explain this to you so hang in there.
Repetitive daily routines stop the brain from recording clear detailed memories. When every day looks the same, your brain does not track time the same as a clock does. It tracks change. If nothing new happens then days, months, and years start to blur together.
This is know as Time compression. When life lacks variety, your brain compresses past days together, making it feel like time is sped up.
To stop feeling like life is passing you by, add new experiences to your life. Break routine habits, like changing your daily home routine, taking a different route to work, or trying a new hobby.
Schedule small trips or plan new adventures so your days do not blend together.
Practice mindfulness by staying fully focused on what you are doing right now and not trying to race off to the next task.
Keep a journal and write down happy memories or memorable parts of the day before you go to sleep.
Take deep, calm breaths when you feel anxious or rushed to return your focus to the moment.
You can and you will retrain your brain to not feel like life is passing you by by following these few simple measures.
Hello @kritisanon,
1. Don't play the woman card. You were not criticized for your gender, but for your choice of clothes in an ad. You are bringing gender into this to make it a women's issue and seek wider support from women and male feminists. It's not a gender issue. Even Ranveer Singh was criticized on Twitter for a nude photoshoot. He didn't play the gender card.
2. Personal choice stops where public commercialization begins. What you wear off-camera is entirely your prerogative. You've been in this business for years. Until now, nobody bothered you about your choice of clothes. You know why? Because nobody actually cares what you wear. The outrage here comes from a commercial choice: sexualizing a deeply sacred festival celebrated by millions. Context dictates appropriateness. If a male actor appeared bare-chested while portraying the brother in that exact scene, the public pushback would be identical. The issue is sacredness and context, not gender.
3. Claiming "clothes don't define culture" directly contradicts human history. Attire is a foundational visual language of every global tradition, you cannot wear a Kimono and call it Indian ethnic wear, nor can you strip a festival of its sacred aesthetic without altering its significance. If attire truly has zero bearing on cultural respect, then tomorrow is Eid. Can you wear that exact same outfit you wore in that ad and wish Eid Mubarak? You said clothes don't define the respect you have for culture in your heart. So do it and we'll take our criticism back.
Respecting a tradition means honoring its context, not commodifying it under the guise of fashion.
The exhaustion you feel during early discipline is neuroplasticity in motion, because the brain burns significantly more energy building new pathways than maintaining old ones, and what feels like resistance is often just the cost of becoming mentally stronger.
People who spend long periods of time at home and slowly lose the desire to go outside often think they're just resting. But psychologically, many of them are experiencing something called mental rumination. It's a state where the brain starts slowing down while the number of thoughts inside keeps increasing and the motivation to do anything slowly disappears. The mind gets stuck in the past, worries about the future and burns itself out. This isn't laziness, it's a nervous system stuck in survival mode. And the longer it lasts, the more distant normal life begins to feel. And the difficult part is that you usually can't escape it through one massive burst of motivation. And sometimes, recovery starts with just one small step.
The govt totally deserves this mocking.
I mean, if you decided to surrender, fine, you could have done it by calling a press conference and resign by saying, 'We are bowing down to regular students.' Or you could have called Wangchuk and yielded to him. Or you could have called the parents of the NEET leak suicide victims, expressed regret, and resigned in front of them. You could have even called the ordinary students who were part of the protest. All of the above would be more sensitive and good optics too.
But instead, you chose to call the trolls affiliated with a political party and desperately surrendered to every single demand of theirs. You were so desperate to shake hands and appease them. For what, man? Who was the think tank behind this?
Do everything you can to maximize neuroplasticity.
New restaurants. New cafes. New seat in the cafe. New music. New workouts. New hobbies. New languages. New countries.
Yes, consistency is important, but if you want to access new thinking and creativity, you have to have new experiences, and you have to have them often.
For my future self to come back to. 💫

So you're saying that men who are emotionally available n expressive, family-oriented, committed to their goals as passionately as they are to their partner, fulfiling their duty as a responsible citizen on daily basis, designed with an in-built value system,

Girl to girl: you’re actually going to meet women who intimidate you. The ones who seem effortlessly cooler, smarter, prettier, more put together. You’ll find yourself comparing, wondering what it would feel like to have what they have or live the life they live. But don’t mistake their glow as proof that you don’t have one. Someone else’s shine does not dim yours. Choose to admire without shrinking. Fall in love with who you are becoming. Trust that your path, your timing, and your life will come together in a way that makes sense for you.
Difficult books demand patience because they ask the reader to slow down and think carefully about each idea. In a world filled with quick information and constant distraction, the act of reading slowly becomes a form of intellectual discipline. The reader who struggles through complex ideas gradually develops a stronger mind. Understanding does not appear instantly, but grows through repeated effort and reflection. Just as physical exercise strengthens the body, intellectual effort strengthens the mind. The reader who learns to endure the temporary confusion of difficult books eventually discovers insights that remain hidden from those who only seek easy reading.

“It's so obvious that it has a direct correlation to how you approach work and thus the results, so it literally makes no sense to not be a delusional optimist!”
