🚨🎙️ Thierry Henry on Manchester United ending Nottingham Forest’s 8-match unbeaten Premier League run:
🗣️ “I’ll be honest, before the game started I didn’t see Manchester United winning because historically these are the type of matches they struggle in.
But this game shows how much they’ve improved under Michael Carrick.
Before, United were a side that could lose control very quickly in these kinds of games. Now they look calmer, more mature, and they created a lot of chances comfortably.
Honestly, they should’ve scored more than three goals if not for the number of chances they wasted.
I think that's usually the sign of a team starting to understand itself again.
Carrick still has work to do, but you can already see the identity slowly returning to Manchester United.”

Comoros🇰🇲 government now suspends new fuel prices introduced in response to the Iran war, backing down after the hikes, diesel prices by 46% and gasoline prices by 35%, prompted demonstrations and deadly clashes across the East African archipelago.
"The government and President Azali (Assoumani) heard the cries of the Comorian people. There was no other solution than to listen to them. The goal is to preserve peace," Energy Minister Aboubacar Saïd Anli announces.
President Azali suspended the decrees related to the fuel price hike, which were introduced on May 9, to allow for talks on the matter.

Between 2011 and 2015, DCI officers would arrest me and ask, “Nyakundi, what is this thing called blogging? Si uwache hii kitu uende ufanye ukulima Kisii?”
Looking back, the survival of the blogging industry is almost a miracle. We were attacked from every side, including by mainstream media, which dismissed us as unsubstantiated, unverified and unscrupulous online personalities. Yet the same space they mocked became one of the most powerful channels for public complaints, whistleblowing, accountability and stories that would never have seen daylight elsewhere.
Blogging survived because Kenyans needed somewhere to speak. It survived because many truths first arrive untidy, through ordinary people, victims, insiders and citizens who have no newsroom, no editor and no platform.
The industry was not perfect, but it opened a door that power badly wanted shut.
There are places we pass through in life… and there are places that become part of who we are.
Manchester will forever be my home.
To the city, the club, and every supporter, my sincerest thank you. These past four years have been unforgettable, filled with moments my family and I will carry with us for the rest of our lives. There simply aren’t enough words to describe the happiness and warmth we’ve felt here.
Thank you for every cheer, every memory, and for making us feel at home from the very first day.
Forever a Red Devil ❤️
